Perhaps if Ehab & his ****tard Father hadn’t gone out if their way to diminish attendances it wouldn’t be a problem.

It was a “lower” mid table budget according to the disciples, regardless of the attendance.

Amazing isn’t it. All the defeats are McCann’s fault. All the wins are despite McCann. We have some prize dickheads on here spouting this bullshit.

I can’t comment on the Barnsley game as I was away
But if you can’t see we look more solid and compact in a three at the back then maybe you’re the dick head?
With plt he doesn’t care what formation we don’t have the players good enough as it’s ehabs fault.
Surprisingly some of us have been saying we have a squad good enough to compete but we’re being used badly.
This formation suits smallwood our out of his depth skipper
The 4-2-3-1 has him chasing down the wings in defence something he struggles with. Keep him in the centre and he reads the game well intercepts and makes good tackles.
    Nah let’s go back to4-2-3-1

Didn't see last night. Birmingham we were excellent in the back 3, gave them no space. Barnsley we were excellent in the 4-3-3. Middlesbrough we played back 3 and were nothing special, pretty lucky to win. Bournemouth game, which no one talks about for some reason, we were excellent in the 4-3-3 again. On the whole, we've had good performances in both systems. No really bad ones in the back 3 but we've still only played it 3 times, unless you count the second half against Coventry which was ****e. Whether it's a 3 or 4 at the back, it's still the same midfield 3 so I don't know what you're on about with Smallwood.

Currently we don't have the players to go with a back 4 and won't for a while, so the back 3 is going to get more use over the next few weeks and if it's the panacea people think then we'll be on the verge of the playoffs by January.

I’ve said repeatedly, what matters is putting the best players on the pitch in their best positions, the waffle about formations is irrelevant. We’ve been doing that, had some better fortune and the results have followed. But apparently, that has nothing to do with McCann, it’s to do with the tides and phases of the moon or something else equally mental.

I'm not sure the 'best positions' part is relevant. Three of our wins have been with KLP at wing back. Two with Longman at wing back. One with Emmanuel on the left. One with Elder/Huddlestone in the back three.

If anything, it seems like the more we're forced to squeeze players into positions they're not used to, the more we win.
