He was appointed on the 5th Demember , not quite a year ago ...Now if this comment from LJ is anything to go by: "Speaking to Kristjaan, (chief executive) Jim (Rodwell) and the owners, I was absolutely blown away by their plans and dreams for the club," he added. The owners must be seriously concerned now because those plans he mentioned are disappearing down the plughole as quick as the bath water.
that's why were gonna be stuck in this ****e league for few more years then it pathetic they willing to stay in league one
personally i feel ipswich was more luck than management because had they been able to finish they would have had at least a 2 goal lead and the way we are playing i doubt we would have even salvaged a draw, shrewsbury was just downright bad choices by the manager as we had them on the back foot and i am fairly sure we were all just sitting waiting for the next goal to go in, never expecting it to be against us and realistically from then on they were looking hungrier and more likely to grab a winner. we have stopped the rot i guess (my positive thought for the week) but not by playing our way out of it, need to see a win and a performance lift at cheltenham...as i said elsewhere, normally a home win and away draw we would accept happily but the nature of those points has not filled us with confidence. edit: just realised i posted cheltenham...i meant cambridge, of course.
Of all the players to dig out he chooses Stewart?! No mention at all of McGeady, Gooch, O’Nien or O’Brien who have all been absolutely disgraceful for either all or most of the season. Just get him out man ffs. What on earth are they waiting for? We are wasting games and losing points with this chump in the dugout.
It's got me baffled, as you say in the cup our reserves were coming in and looking like they could replace their 1st team counterpart with little lost. Now they are all looking ****e!
Did we play well or even reasonably in the last two games ? The answer to my question should give the answer to yours.
This is all true, but the really bad part is that this all can be used to mask that he just isn't good enough. He certainly isn't handling this situation well, or even with basic competence. I've never seen this board turn so completely against a manager. It's even worse than Parky. Under Parky we knew he wouldn't go as it would cost Donald. This is different, we can't afford NOT to get rid. I hope KLD and the board don't think that we will be able to stand another season down here.
I’m astounded he is still in a job today. I don’t like the constant chop and change of managers but you have to ask if you feel that LJ will get us promotion this season, if there is the slightest tinge of doubt in the answer then he has to go. Only problem would be that I fear Speakman would appoint someone like Pep Clotet with his links to Birmingham and Oxford, that would be an even more frightening prospect. I do feel a change is in the water as question marks and doubts are setting in with Speakman and the ownership. That means an arse covering sacking will come when the heat gets too much.
All I can say is Im sick to ****ing death of changing managers every year. The club is just going round in circles and getting nowhere.
Yes, as per Zidane, KLD will not want the reputation of being a spoilt young kid so will possibly over compensate in giving him a chance.
I think it's getting to the point where he wont have much choice. I don't think things will improve much, if at all, from here, so needs to get rid. Plenty of the season left for someone to turn it around, I just can't see LJ doing it.
