Why do people like rubbish like that It’s not true Of course he’s liked some of it and felt joy about his adopted hometown club
on the topic of $#!+ owners, this one is interesting and the owner sounds like a right twat. sacking via twitter. not cool. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/footbal...IxzyXhGBr8tOJNwt61Jt2GwOK4_7IHZ4GDmV9JUZplyzs
We were right above him at Wembley for the FA Cup semi-final, at the final whistle he was joyously waving his arms and then clapping to those behind him. I waved back to him, just the two fingers though, oddly he seemed unimpressed.
Absolutely mate. If you e not been to Fields of Anlaby you honestly need to check the place out, it’s an outstanding butcher/baker, and those corned beef and potato pasties are fantastic
Not a ****ing chance, they’ve had £30m in interest and tax benefits already, they’ll make at least £20m.
So the tax benefits have come from HMRC and not City. Interest payments have to be offset against the losses against debt when the sales goes through. If they leave with a profit it won't be 50m, they'll make a loss on the sale and that will offset the interest payments to a greater or lesser degree surely?
The interest paid is cash they’ve taken, it’s not offset against anything, they’ve pretty much had all their money back already and they’ll make at least £20m on a £30m sale.
I can't see how they have had all of their money back from the 40m debt/initial investment and assuming they get 30m (which I find unlikely) then you're looking at 20m max based on your suggested figures - a long way from the 100m suggested above and elsewhere. Some of the interest will also have been paid in interest on the commercial loan I recall we took out (via Allamhouse) then paid off also. Some will also have paid either as salary via Allamhouse or paid to Allamhouse in lieu of directors salary.
Cant say I haven't wondered the same... Hopefully the cash is in escrow based on the old exchange rate....
Given Acun often travels to the Dominican Republic for filming it’s highly unlikely he has his fortune tied up in Turkish currency.
