Not that I want to answer on his behalf but I’m sure there’s many more than him that have found it joyless, even when I was still going previously I found zero enjoyment in watching football anymore because of them. I had no emotional attachment due to the way they treated the fans and the club, although I had a good time Saturday it will take quite a while for me to actually get the football bug and enjoyment back. They’re both as bad as each other and care about nothing else except themselves and money.

Most owners are when all said and done. Very few owners remain and are revered, though there are a few it's the exception not the rule.

Most owners have a better grasp of optics though, and the difference between a cultural sporting entity as opposed to a generator factory.

I'm no fan of the Allams, I thank them for coming in at a time when we needed help, I thank them for the Bruce years, alas the moment they spat their dummy out with the council was were it all started to go down hill, since then their spiteful and sometimes childish behaviour has attempted to suck the life blood out of the club. It's good that the new prospective owner is a football man, and a pr man, perhaps he will bring back the feel good factor. Its gonna need some work but eminently achievable

Nasty, all round ****s. Not just “owner” ****s.

Trying to sell trampolines that don’t belong to them is **** all to do with football. It’s ****fuckery carried out by ****s.

    I must've missed 'trampoline-gate'.

I'm not denying that they're ****s, just suggesting we've had bigger ones that have gambled with the very existence of the club for no-one's benefit but their own in my lifetime. They just did it with a sprinkling of fairy dust and most didn't realise.

I don't disagree that it's time for a new start.

**** owners or not,I have never found supporting Hull City 'Joyless' and I was curious....That was all.

Is debate still achievable on this forum or is it all-out 'joyless' abuse:emoticon-0102-bigsm

    Pub for me....Right now:emoticon-0148-yes:

    'Worst' is subjective.

Financially though they've not been the worst and in football terms they haven't either. They have been in other ways though, granted.

2 points to clarify. First, I said £30m-ish (and that is what it was at takeover, not on published accounts as at a a later date. Second, I didn't say worse off. Again please stop making stuff up!!

The Allams divided the fanbase you only need to look on here to see that so I agree with Ben they are the worst.

I suspect, one way or another, we'll probably still be £30m in debt after the next takeover as well.

Financial stability or a managed decline running us on a shoestring? Allams seem to be getting applauded by some for the former whilst lambasted by the same people for the latter. Yet, they are one of the same! Odd. The managed decline aka financial stability was purely to ensure they didn't personally lose any money whilst still taking significant amounts (interest on their gift) out of the club. Who knows what they would have done when they could no longer cover costs and generate enough to pay themselves interest. Probably just cut costs even further, leading to a further tumble down the divisions, or maybe even wind us up if it got to the point where it started losing them material money. Again, it was only a matter of time under them

If investment is written up as debt for tax purposes again, then yes, we possibly might.

It was to claw back as much of their investment as possible given the value of the club was falling. Basically it has been an exit strategy.
