Must have been done before the yid army match and good to have it as antisemitism before even mentioning BLM etc
Afternoon all. We've had a nightmare with injuries this year. I heard the other week that West Ham have been able to field their first choice 11 for most of the season. I think we'd be much nearer the important places if we'd been able to do that just a few times. I don't know if it was posted on here but, according to the BBC, we've conceded 8 goals in the first 15 minutes of the second half this season. That's the worst in the division. Just as important as getting our first teamers back is giving Bielsa options from the bench. He's had no one. Posters complain about Roberts coming on but at least we don't seem to get worse when he does. I don't think we get better. I think Joffy will be this season's Nketiah from January. Put him on when defenders are tired or on a yellow and he'll run riot.
Blono last season the pundits said we had the wost goals conceded from set pieces and Bielsa solved that, but pundits will have a go at anything they can. The piece on WHU being able to use their first 11 in 11 consecutive games is the difference as we havent been able to do that once yet
I wouldn’t be so sure on Cornet, he looks good in the dog and duck pub team but he might not look the same in a team that doesn’t hoof it or spend the rest of the match kicking lumps out of the opposition.
Also Cornet a winger but we brought in Dan James, Firpo was the only LB we looked at and got him early
One thing we mentioned a couple of weeks ago has come back. Not sure on the truth of Orta contacting him recently, but the rest is true https://sportwitness.co.uk/orta-alr...eds-united-position-manager-becoming-clearer/
Think you’ll find he was an attacking LB for Lyon and we were looking at him for LB started out as a winger and like Alioski was converted Numerous sources also saying we placed a £10m bid but it was turned down https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www..../leeds-united-news-maxwel-cornet-20844096.amp One of many sources, lots of breakfast debates on here mentioning him too True but I’d swap him for Firpo tomorrow
Thomas Christensen was manager for the Newport cup debacle so not sure that played a part in Siaz's eventual departure. It certainly cost Thomas his job though. Beilsa arrived in the summer (after Heckingbottom) and Siaz survived the clear out, there were however issues over his weight and attitude to training emanating from the club. Then before xmas the sudden disappearance and rumours of family issues. Guess we'll never know exactly what went on, but it was unusual as Siaz didn't even wait for the January window and was just gone with immediate effect.
Saiz had bags of potential but you could tell he was a sulker which is why he’s not fulfilled his potential and is playing in the Spanish second division rather than a top club.
