You are all liars and you know it (you chose David Cassidy) !!! To support my alma mater, I must choose Can. In a "back to the future"spirit, my 17-18 yr old self would go and see Bath Ruth at the Marquee (and induce a crowd 'WTF did I just witness' moment the instant "The mexican" starts to play) .
I would have loved to see King Crimson in their pomp , managed to see them in 2019 at the Royal Albert Hall with Mr Fripp decked out in his finery
A fine celebration of the genius of Paul McCartney on BBC2 tonight. Am a huge Lennon fan but there is no denying how great Macca is.
Now you've got an Italian manager, I thought I'd treat you to a bit of Italian punk rock/Ramonescore. There's a big scene there; they a festival annually in Bergamo called Punk Rock Raduno
I watched the Willie Nelson tribute last night on Sky Arts. It was great until that twat gets on stage alongside Nelson, Keith Richards and Jerry Lee Lewis. I switched off at that point.
Weller was superb last night, great set from all points in his career topped off with a full speed malice at the end sung along by the entire audience. It's still the case that the 2 Jam songs (Malice and That Entertainment), both played at the end got the best audience reaction, and I heard people saying that they think it must annoy him. But I doubt if it did he wouldn't play them he is not one for doing things for the sake of it, anyone who has seen him on this tour must clearly see he's loving it
Just a quick shout out for the good people at The Roundhouse. Last week, I bought a ticket from Ticketmaster's ticket exchange for tomorrow's Billy Bragg gig, as my brother's coming back from Spain tonight and fancied it. As of right now, I've not received the ticket in the post, nor have Ticketmaster replied to my increasingly vexed contact with them. Yesterday, I asked The Roundhouse if they could help me. I had the ticket from them by email, within an hour and a half! Thanks, to everyone concerned at a great venue! It's really appreciated.
