The programmable digital currency will stop you buying too much junk food or booze, your digital ID will know when you’ve been a close contact to an ill health case and what happens when the tech goes wrong like the time when 42 Post Masters all got sent to jail for fraud when, in actual fact, the Post Office system was faulty. Tech goes wrong and miscarriages of justice will be the outcome.
