A host of draws seems to have made for good reading for us today. Huddersfield beating West Brum was good; Coventry only drew and Stoke got the expected win. Then a host of dropped points below top 7. We’ll need a strong game on Wednesday against ‘uddersfield and grasp the opportunity to shore ourselves up in the play-offs.
I would have preferred a draw or a West Brom win in that game. I don’t think we are going to catch Bournemouth or Fulham for the top two, and I don’t really care which place of 3 to 6 we finish in if we stay in the play offs. Would rather develop a big gap between sixth place and the chasing pack….. ….. can’t believe I’m actually imagining that we could end up in a play off place. This league is nuts.
Anyone watching France v New Zealand.... France lead 24 -6 at HT..... Cracking game, France have learnt from the way Ireland played last week....
****ing ridiculous. How many people would have got to watch it? So sorry I didn't see such a fantastic win.
About 15 million people have Amazon Prime in the UK a couple of million more than Sky subscribers. Of course, most of them are there for discounts and quick delivery shopping rather than the rugby. It’s only £8 a month, a bit of original programming as well.
Agree, it was an amazing win, looked impossible in the last 10 minutes - but it's not right it wasn't on free to air TV. The autumn internationals are more than friendlies, they count towards international rankings. I don't know how Amazon managed to steal them. That said, as an aside, I do think that when considering all the Netflix, Sky, Britbox etc offerings, Amazon Prime comes out as good value. I pay about £70 per year for same day or next day deliveries, which are incredibly useful if you live miles from the nearest town. Included are Prime films which are generally ok, and a new one added daily, and the free sport (I've watched tennis and rugby so far).
He was a good player, not that l liked him ( l don’t like anyone that spits on other people ) ….. but can’t see how he’s proven himself as a manager. Surely better managers out there then him.
