    Why would they?

There is no bill, settlement or case being heard.

But there is now. The case has been granted and Celtic have "possible liabilities"

There is a possible case. It hasn't happened yet. There are no liabilities.

There is a case. It will be heard. Celtic have "possible liabilities" that could affect their share price. LSE rules say the stock exchange must be informed.

The point of a class action is to settle before there is a case.

All it took was to not lie about phoning the police or threaten the victims but well just bury that information with the transgressor.

No it's not. It's to make it easier for people to take companies to court. So they don't need to take on the financial burden by themselves.

It'll be Celtic’s decision to want to settle not the pursuers.

Individuals can get no win no fee themselves.

Class actions are scatter gun approaches to get something out the plaintiff by weight of numbers. Generally due to a lack evidence on the individual cases. Otherwise individual cases would be sought.

There has never been a class action case in Scotland mate. This will be the first of it's kind. The law was only changed last year to allow these cases to happen.

Individuals taking on multi million pound companies is disastrous more often than not for the individual. The companies just set their multitude of lawyers on to delay the case as much as possible and make it as costly as possible. In America they do the same with class action cases.

    Strength in numbers mate.

What's the chances a Celtic pub getting done today?

What's that one in-between the Gorbals and Tradeston it sits itself at the railway bridges. That would be handy? Just a half hour walk to Hampden from there.

It's no different. Class actions still face the same lawyers. Compensation however is decided by the representative of the class action so many who are involved get nothing even if they win.

Anyway let's move onto the ££££££££££

    What is your guess?

Compensation is set by the judge mate.

No idea what the cost will be if Celtic lose. Scotland's judiciary are not noted for being tough on child abuse are they. I would be surprised if it was enough to put them under. No where near I'd say.
