Problem we have is if the defence play higher up we generally lack genuine pace at the back and teams will play it behind and run on. Finger pointing at Ashley who scrimped on investing in the team for the last ten years or so. But agree, that’s what we should do and did enjoy the game as well.
We'd have had no possession and let them just control the game. If they drop Darlow lacelles ritchie and Murphy for Dubravka Fernandez and Lewis and Manquillo it'll be better imo. Get at arsenal and make it uncomfortable for them.. Lose properly
Agree. I do think they will basically take a win or bust approach. It's obvious to them that defence is our problem so I'm sure they'll be working on it but I don't expect to see a 'pragmatic' approach to avoiding relegation.
This is why we need the DoF/technical director and Sporting director in like now. So that when the transfer window opens new players walk straight in.

It actually looked like Darlow is diving away from the ball some times. Almost like he does not see the ball. He is costing us games. I don’t think we have won many games with him in goal. He has to be dropped. Lascelles is also poor at defending. He doesn’t read the game at all and his positioning is awful. We should not be conceding 3 goals at home to Brentford.
