I went to the Aegean on Newland the other night. I got fat everything mate Unbelievable meal. Just kept bringing food out And Keo. Beer is nice
Sounds wonderful … been on “salad with everything” for 10 days. Officially alcohol free for the foreseeable, no football or other excitement. Sounds dreadful
Britain unlikely to follow Austria into Covid lockdown, says government scientist. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/health/me...government-scientist/ar-AAQWgDi?ocid=msedgntp What goes around comes around? UK won’t suffer the kind of Covid crisis engulfing EU. Whereas in the summer the talk was of how irresponsible the UK was in removing all restrictions and accepting rapid spread among young adults and children, with jests about “Plague Island” and the supposed buffoonery of our political and medical leaders, Britons might now be tempted to feel that “what goes around comes around” and it was better we had our final large waves in the summer and autumn (as Boris and his medical advisers said at the time) rather than waiting, as others have done, to have a larger wave in the winter. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/health/me...-crisis-engulfing-eu/ar-AAQWAgQ?ocid=msedgntp
Bad news in one way, but good news if they've got a positive way forward for you. Your timing is terrible though...a month ago you'd have been perfectly safe from any excitement at City! Take care mate.
I know a Villa fan, a bit older than me, who was given one of those monitors to wear which kept track of your heart rate and breathing. Had one myself on a few occasions. Seems when analysing it there were some spikes. They coincided with Villa games on TV. The doctor told him in all seriousness to consider whether watching Villa games was worth it.
I'm on alcohol free for ever now. Be careful. Government regulations allow anything up to 0.5% ABV to be called alcohol free. Almost all non alcohol beers and wines aren't.
can I borrow / use your alcohol unit quota? My units just doesn’t last the weekend let alone the full week!! This could be like carbon offsetting!!
The ****test thing is I’m currently also not allowed to drive meaning, under normal circumstances, I had no drinking restrictions. Life’s a turd sometimes,
That's crap. I'm even grumpy when I'm not bothered about drinking so go in my car which Mrs T isn't insured to drive then she decides not to drink when we get there! "What do you want to drink?" "Actually I think I'll just have lime and soda" ".......what?!" "I don't really fancy an alcoholic drink" "...You can bloody have one whether you want one or not. I'm not driving when you're not drinking!"
Have mine as well. It's absolutely no use to me. I am three years dry next month. I never drank anything if I was driving so it's no hardship not to now if we go out. At a conservative estimate, I am saving £500-750 a year on wine alone. That makes me feel better.
Can’t argue with much of this. I disagree with the decision that NHS staff are to have compulsory vaccinations. I see it as a deliberate ploy to make it appear that the NHS ia failing rather than being failed. If it’s necessary for the Docs & nurses to be vaccinated then maybe they should only be treating the vaccinated? https://www.theguardian.com/world/2...L34kq4DDVMf9a8Z5K-0EiuzDbg#Echobox=1637488813
Interesting article..... but severely lacking in any data to back up the story. I would be interested to know what the split is on ICUs between vac'd & non vac'd. As someone who is double jabbed it would give me a little more confidence in the product!!
