    Despite injuries and suspensions we can still field a pretty strong side, something like:
    MacG;
    Gunter, Elerewe, Pearce;
    DJ (or Leko), Gilbey, Dobson, Purrington;
    Lee;
    Washington, Davison.

    Burstow will be on the bench, and he'll probably get a run-out at some point, but Plymouth are flying atm, and a win would be a fantastic result, a draw would be OK.
    I'm glad I've had my booster jab, there probably will be very few masks on the trains, which will be packed.

    Not sure which way this one will go but am fairly confident that it will be a packed ground and a hard fought result whichever way. Obviously hoping for a result for us but would probably take a draw right now.

    Not got a good gut feeling about this game <wah>

    Can't say why, beyond the obvious gulf in form over the whole season so far.
    But I'm not feeling optimistic at all.
    If we lose by fewer than three clear goals I won't be too disappointed.

    Having said that my intuition about games is often wrong :emoticon-0111-blush
    I though Sunderland would muller us :emoticon-0157-sun:

    Quite the opposite for me. I think Plymouth may well be the better team, but Jackson seems to have instilled the sort of 'never say die' factor that Bowyer did in our promotion season. How he reacts when things go pear shaped is still to be seen, but our recent form is equal to the Greenies so a draw might not be a bad guess, but I'll hope for a win - our need is greater :emoticon-0100-smile

    Our record is terrible for the football-for-a-fiver games which used to pack out the Valley. Same as when we're on telly. Same as the Cup. Maybe we get stage-fright.

    Yep. Many of our players wouldn’t have played in front of such a big crowd I’d guess. Much depends on how they react.
    I see Famewo’s yellow has been given to Purrington, so both are available, but Stockleys appeal was rejected so we lose him for 3.

    Wrong again - Yes! <cracker>
    What a terrific win!
    A gamble to fill the Valley against the league leaders, but what a terrific afternoon's work <applause>

    A short while ago I said it was only four games.
    Well for me that win is a huge step towards JJ showing us it's real, not just a honeymoon.
    Just 2 points dropped in five matches.

    Jackson cannot apply pressure to TS in a more positive manner.
    There must surely be a decision within another 3 or 4 games. And despite my fears there is no sign of an obviously better alternative choice at this point.

    What a team. We dominated the best team in the league and even with 3 of our top 4 CB's out we didn't give them a sniff. Still 9 points off the playoffs but 7 off the relegation spots. In a different universe we were heading for L2 at a rate knots. Hard to believe.

    Can’t see any way JJ doesn’t get the job now. Imagine if we bring someone else in and we start losing again. Would be a disaster for TS and the club. Can’t see him risking that.

    If it were me I’d keep him as caretaker so we don’t jinx the run and then once we suffer our first defeat I’d make it permanent. Maybe unconventional but TS isn’t exactly your bog-standard owner.

    All this without Stockley, Innis, Lavelle Matthews, JF-C, Leko, not forgetting that our marquee signing, Charlie Kirk, is yet to contribute

    i agree.

    also - George Dobson.

    his yellow card was straight out of the Pratley playbook.
