That first half from Diallo was so good. Stand out player on the pitch by some distance, then comes Che.
It's all very encouraging. We've got plenty of decent crosses being put into the box. Excellent practice for when we play a striker who can get on the end of them
Well, we should be winning. Diallo class, JWP and Rom sharp. Ely seems of the pace, and Che full of confidence. Think we miss Redders a bit and Stu of course. COYR.
I can see why Ralph plays Elyounoussi. We've lacked a midfielder who can receive the pass forwards and turn with it. He's good on the ball and solid in challenges. If only he was a tiny bit faster in taking shots then we'd win a lot more matches.
Only change i would make is Elyounnoussi off but with Armstrong, Redmond and Djenepo all out our options are limited. Walcott is crap, I'd be tempted to play Adam Armstrong as a 10 and then have Broja and Che up top - need to go for it!
We look a different team when we get the ball wide early, into space but I have to add that I don’t think we are using it well enough to allow a decisive shot to be taken by whoever the pass is aimed at. Hopefully we will rectify that before Smith does what he did in the Villa game and shuffle his pack to close down the space.
