Aaaaand.................it's happened! -6 points leaves the cheating fuggers still above you, that can't be right.

maybe you should turn into Derby fans, full of self-entitlement and whinging the EFL has a vendetta against you.

And Reading have signed Andy Carroll. Before the point reduction was imposed. Perhaps that is a direct financial penalty? <whistle>

Plenty of work for the physios then.

Financially they'd be skating on thin ice.

In fairness this was a misunderstanding when someone at the club asked if there were any musicians handy with Christmas songs.

They're probably paying for them through a slush fund.

I can't help thinking we're only seeing the tip of the iceberg at the moment - just like the Titanic before it went down.

In other business types those types of debts would have been grounds for a winding up petition.

I understand the company is in administration which precludes a winding up petition

.....I think Bluey meant before administration was entered into. Plenty of clubs have had WUP's temporarily set aside - us for one.

From what I know, once a WUP has been issued, it's more difficult just to enter admin. I think you have to have reasonable grounds to apply to court for a stay of the WUP - only if that is granted can you go for admin.

He has said he will stay, if wanted, should they go down. Paying his wages could be an issue unless he takes a cut. A big one.

What the administrators have got to accept is that they're effectively trying to sell a League One club.
