Eddie Howe has tested positive for Covid 19 and will be missing tomorrow's game against Brentford. https://www.nufc.co.uk/news/latest-news/eddie-howe-tests-positive-for-covid-19/
I think the rules changed once the vaccines started to roll out. They'll have all been tested and it will just be Howe testing positive. Not holding out much hope for a retest with the club announcing it on the site already.
Its ****ing good news bad news this man Good news takeover happened, bad news Bruce was still in charge Good news Bruce is punted, bad news Jones wasn't the Gateshead Guardiola Good news Charnley has gone, bad news Eddie has Covid
Pity but what can you do. Apart from wear a mask and keep your distance from other people, which he clearly didn't. He has had two weeks to coach them now - its probably more likely to be a strong case of depression.
Perhaps that ****ing scruffy **** complaining about players not stopping for him and his family outside the training ground saying " 4 players stopped so you can't use covid as an excuse" might think again? Nope not a ****ing chance! They'll be sighting luck
Or better still just ignore him. The fault lies with Howe - he presumably didnt practice proper social distancing and probably wasnt wearing a mask or avoiding people not wearing a mask. Anyway its better than it being a player. He can still do his match-day job remotely.
