Could only watch the first half and patches of the second, but I think there is some player in Dozzell. His passes just seem that bit zippier than anyone elses. Given time, I can see him in the Johansen role and Field alongside him, with StefJo on a nice golf course somewhere.

Just needs to bulk up a little physically, does seem to tire around the 60 min mark quite often. Definitely a decent player emerging though, does occasionally throw in a shocking short pass that goes straight to an opponent in a dangerous area, but that's down to lack of concentration.

Who is going to come in for Dickie then on Wednesday if he's suspended ? Will be a big miss v Huddersfield and can't think who we can readily put in there as cover. Maybe a back 4 for one game ?

Sadly it's the worst game Albert has had by a mile, off the pace for all the minutes he was on the pitch. Hopefully we can get him back to being super sub, tearing defences to pieces late on in any game

Very good victory indeed. Luton were quite good althought their finishing were awful. Nice header from Chaz and some simple nice goal from Chair and Willock . Now get a rest on you go against Huddersfield with all cylinders… Well done lads:1980_boogie_down::1980_boogie_down::1980_boogie_down:

Not sure I agree with that, my view was that Luton spread it out very wide on either wing to continually stretch our midfield and wing backs and we're probably unlucky not to get a result. Thoroughly enjoyed the game, a lot of our team were awesome and so pleased for Charlie

Jones just acts like a 9yr old who has just eaten 9kg of Haribos. If he actually concentrated on the game and not theatrically over reacting to every decision Luton would be higher up the table

Yes, I didn't word it well.
They did play some decent stuff at times and did get the ball wide a lot.
What I meant was that Luton crossed the ball very often and early, which played to our strengths, along with their long throws.

I thought Wallace was awesome last night, up and down endlessly. Near the end he made a block conceding a corner and looked uncomfortable when he got up, hopefully no damage done...

I thought he did well enough defensively, saved us a goal against in the corner with that save off the line. His crossing was well off though.

I have an awful admission to make. I met my pals in the Pavilion as usual last night and we wound up staying there to watch the game. Hung over and racked with guilt this morning.

A good win though and great to have Wallace back. I thought Dozzell was very good too.

I thought the graphic on the tv said it was his 4th yellow card but I could be wrong

The stats confirm that though at our best we looked the better team, Luton had double the shots and double the shots on target. Lucky for us they were wasteful and we were effective scoring from our only 2 shots on goal. If Dieng hadn't made that early great save and Barbet helped out with his following tackle it could have been a very different game. Though we played so well at times, last night we didn't create many chances, I think because there was little service from out wide with Albert's crossing not at his normal standard and Wallace understandably looking a bit rusty. Great result for us when again we weren't at our very best.

It was indeed Dickie's 4th yellow card this season in the Championship, he got 1 yellow in the League Cup too so was his 5th overall. So no suspension yet, what a relief !
