Is it time to follow other countries and only allow people who can prove they've either been fully vaccinated or tested negative in the last 24 hours into entertainment venues ? Reluctantly I think it probably is.
Only trouble with that is it's very easy to just register a LFT as negative, all you need is the barcode. Unless that loophole has been closed since the summer, I don't need to do that as I've been double vaxxed.
That will be why tests in other parts of Europe have to be done at clinics/pharmacies etc at a cost of around £8. Negative test result valid for 24h in France and 48h in Italy for example...or you can get vaccinated/stay home of course.
