It is all wrong. There is no excuse for any of it. I suspect it is like violence in childhood, if you are subjected to it, there is an increased risk that you will carry it on and do it to your children. I am glad he has apologised...it would be great if everyone stopped doing it ..but we are all doing it all the time. Welsh sheepsh@@@@, Gypos, Fulham/Rupert's, Chelscum. It is all different degrees of the same thing. Yes and I do it too
Two faced hypocrite. But a paradigm of what is going on in society. There is racism in every culture and at every level. Not just in Yorkshire Cricket Club.
Not excusing it but I’d cringe at some of what I put on Facebook at 20 as he was at the time I’m assuming.
Yes, that one quote obviously totally invalidates everything he said about his treatment at Yorkshire.
It is embarrassing for him and he sounds embarrassed. It would be wrong for it to be used to play down his treatment though.
Which of course is nonsense. But the Yorkshire situation is turning into a witch hunt, and the credibility of the accuser can be questioned, when he himsel has made racist comments. I'd like to hear from his team mates. Justice must be at the root of all this. Without it, it will lead to yet more resentment between cultures.
So it turns out that the worse off will pay a bigger proportion of their assets on social care than the better off. I might be being over generous but I don’t believe this was the government’s intention. I think officials failed to check the algorithm properly, even though it’s a very simple thing to do, and lumbered them with this situation. So we have **** politicians and a **** civil service (exhibit b - border control, asylum seeker processes….). Nightmare. But perhaps the culture in the civil service is set by the government, and due diligence is not permitted. It’s a hard thing for a young, junior official to give bad news to his or her bosses, who really don’t want to pass that news on to the politicians……
Quite right but you can be sure it will be used against him which is unhelpful. Cricket needs leadership from the top, you get the feeling they've turned a blind eye once too often...
Tory backbencher Andrew Rosindell on taking £20 a week from the poorest people in the country.... “I think there are people that quite like getting the extra £20 but maybe they don't need it.” Tory backbencher Andrew Rosindell on stopping MPs' second jobs.... “We have to be careful about this, we have to realise we are dealing with human beings who have families and responsibilities,”
His Wiki says that he's 'Chairman of the All Party Parliamentary Flags & Heraldry Committee'. Not all bad, then.
I’ve just looked him up too. Objected to same sex marriage on the grounds that it could have constitutional implications if the monarch was gay. Tommy Robinson supporter. Wow, he is a complete ****.
He was also shadow Home Secretary! He had a majority of 18,000 at the last election, so I'd say that makes the electorate of Romford ****s too.
