Oh dear. Boris and his buddies have been at it again then. The screech of brakes and U turn was heard from Space. The saddest part for me is that no doubt he will get away with this latest sleaze once again and people will just carry on as if nothing has happened. We seem to resemble a third World country more and more where the corruption and sleaze is involved on a daily basis. Whilst I never thought this Country was exempt from it completely I did think people cared a bit more when it was exposed. Anywhere else where the business rules were broken so blatantly would mean a sacking never mind a move to change the rules to fit. The man himself should not have been allowed to have "stood down", he should have been fired and banned from any further public office ever again.

I watched the whole of the England match tonight. Talk about a game of two halves. Hands up those who just knew that at 5 - 0 at half time it was going to be the same score at full time. They are on again on Monday versus San Marino. Can I bother to watch that one I wonder.

More like the local Park....Accrington averaging 2795 this season and not one of them is called Stanley.

PS.....Total population of 35,456.....far bigger than Forest Green Rovers who are on the outskirts of the mighty town /village of Nailsworth population 5794

I was imagining all those Premier League managers texting Southgate at half time demanding their players be taken off.

Yes we are ok as we live near the top of a mountain.
All motorways are closed from flooding and mud slides, so we cant go anywhere.
Of course people are stock piling so a shortage of food etc.
Petrol station are running out of petrol because the trucks can't get to them.
So, we just wait it out.
    Thanks for asking.

Seems people are the same the whole World over with the greed thing. Why anyone buys more than they can use or need is beyond me. Except wine of course which is exempt.

That's just rubbish. If rules are broken then it's disqualification. You are right though what is the 4th Official for. It isn't fair on Bradford to make them travel back to Devon yet again.

I was listening to the Radio this morning and the talk was about the cancellation of the rail improvements for those UP North. There was nothing in the proposals for improvements for the South West Region. What a shock. There were loads of people moaning about how they have been seen off with broken promises and that they wouldn't get 7 minutes shaved off their journey time and so on. So we have a Region that has a main line railway that often gets pounded by the weather as it runs along the English Channel. The main line got buggered because one lorry hit a very small bridge in Plymouth and Cornwall was cut off virtually rail wise. There are no Motorways in Cornwall whatsoever with the nearest one terminating at Exeter. The best road from there on being a dual carriageway. There isn't much of an Airport around either. But, the people of the North feel left out. Try feckin living in this neck of the woods then peeps. The Government don't even remember we exist when it comes to investment.

I've quite often banged on about the lack of basic transport links to W Devon and Cornwall....I do wonder if the west country MP's make enough noise about it at Westminster.

We hear all the time about improving the rail network to the midlands and further oop north....there talking of shaving minutes off the run to Birmingham...It's costing £billions destroying homes and habitat am]nd making Lawyers into millionaires.

Keeping the west country a secret disappeared 50 years ago...with all these second homes robbing young people from ever affording a home where they come from...so that won't wash as an excuse to keep the links low key to the west country.

I still find it hard to accept that a city of over a quarter of a million hasn't got an airport for business connections and for travel in general.

Motorway links beyond Exeter are non-existant... and the chance of the rail track disappearing into the channel is beyond belief.

And what is the straight line road to Heathrow, Gatwick & London (A303) is single track in several places. Never mind anything else, imagine the reduction in emissions of all those cars could use the A303 instead of the M5/M4 route.

The FA officials for that Exeter cock-up should be penalized....you only need 5 fingers to count the number of subs....and Exeter officials would surely know who their FIVE subs qwould probably be.....between them they should have been able to get it right.....the game should be forfeitted...the club fined and the FA officials sent back to Primary School.

How come Adams and his Bradford crew did not cotton on.

There is still talk about the A303 being tunnelled under Stonehenge....that would pay for a motorway from Exeter down to Plymouth....are they afraid that Stonehenge is fragil with all that passing traffic....it's been there awhile without it completely falling down.

I understand why that bit has to be tunnelled. But in addition to that, there's the bit through the Blackdown Hills, (great drive if there's no traffic but so much fun in August) the deadly 3 lane Illminster by-pass, the bit near RNAS Yeovilton.... useless. On top of that, the bits already dualled have roundabouts instead of grade separated junctions... still useless.

Been watching the womens Rugby International between England (ranked 1st) v USA (ranked 5th)....an 89-0 win.

Far superior to womens football.....fast and physical and the trainers didn't seem to come on once.....they just got up and got on with it....wouldn't want to meet some of those ladies on a dark night.

England have crushed all opposition this autumn.....a tough lot.
