It's a pleasant enough looking part of the country Was nice to see the night sky with minimal light pollution from the farmhouse we had hired. Nowt much happening during the day for me and no real kebab shops and curry houses. Not bothered if I ever go back or not
I was expecting around a ton each with drinks so its alright. Its also a nice walk to and from the place and the whole point is getting out for at least some the day and not having any mess at home so you gotta pay for that perk innit.
The only place walk able to my house would be ****e, so it's a non starter. I like the day anyway. The Mrs and her bro do all the cooking and veg prep, I'm only allowed in the kitchen to get drinks during this bit. Kids and old folk are all in the front room, the good stuff happens in the back/dining room and kitchen. There is a hatch between the two! Yes, a ****ing serving hatch. Usually have it quite late, so i'll do a good size breakfast boofet in the morning, full English style. I'm allowed in the kitchen after the meal as I usually do two dishwasher shifts. I'm not allowed to do actual washing up, just dishwasher loading and unloading, usually to the accompaniment of a decent red I'll have opened. All good mate. And I'm not spending £40 a bottle of wine this way.
Most i ever paid for a pint was £9.60 for peroni in sloane Square bout 3 year back. Hated every drop of it
£15, Norway ? worst was a bar in Oslo. Ordered a Guiness and it was a can at a place in Olso near to Radhuset, by the water. when I popped my expenses in it was £22
Yep, most of the time its a Carling on tap or a local fruity IPA. Horrid. Just go straight to spirits or Jagerbombs
