I agree we should , although that went out the window with the present or last owners depending what stage you think we are at.
Peacey has been posting what's about to happen and has happened on this for months now, along with a couple of others. He's taken **** for it, so yeah, he's earned a bit of sarcasm. There are plenty others only say stuff on PM and I don't blame them, mainly due to the **** involved. Leave the lad alone.
I've called you worse haha! Wasn't a reply to you specifically. I don't know your relationship history... But it's all rock n roll. Final countdown is on the playlist Fat lady is warming up (probably on Chazz) We might not always get what we want, we'll just have to roll with it. * any more posts containng song titles will be appreciated by Den. Just keep it under 1500.
I see both sides of the debate around Shota. He hasn't any experience in the Championship and the last time we appointed a similar manager we had a poor start to the season, and we are in a very precarious position. A new owner may come in thinking everything is quite straight forward and simple and underestimate the challenge of keeping us up. Add to this he's a friend of Acun's, may swing in either direction - either he would know when to stand aside not to damage his friend's investment, or Acun would refuse to sack him because they're friends. All that said, he is also a fresh start and deserves our united backing as a new era at the club begins, and shouldn't be an excuse to dampen our optimism about the club entering a post-Allams era. He has managed at some reasonably large clubs with big resources, has experience playing in Scotland so isn't a stranger to British football, and might be able to snap the players out of the malaise under McCann.
Once the missus has got her (well manicured) finger out of my arse I’ll be giving the club 100% support as I have been since 1966. Support the club, not the league they’re in or the owners. Support the club.
As you know I still have a pass and go to every home game I can (sadly I can’t this Sat actually) but for those who are staying away on principle I imagine it will be too close to change now, so they’ll probably wait until the actual change in ownership. Those who are staying away because they just gradually changed what they do will be more difficult to win back anyway, but communication and fan engagement should come naturally to Acun if he does take over, so fingers crossed. So I can’t imagine too much change this week whether we like that or not. What I would say though is despite new manager debates on here and in HDM etc it would be **** if some fans start the sacked in the morning bollocks when actually he may well be. I can’t see that helps anything. Anyway not too long now hopefully before we will all really find out how many are staying away purely due to the current owners.
