Give the guy a chance. He's only 5 points off top 4 and top of the CL group.

It would be silly to sack Ole, he's not even in his 4th year and we know how great the previous legend was in his 5th year

Rodgers is gaining momentum in the media with some suggesting that there is a verbal agreement in place but that Ole may still be in until the end of the season. That would be a waste in my opinion.

Having a verbal agreement with Rodgers would be like telling a 12 yr old he's getting the latest Playstation for Xmas and asking him to keep it a secret for the next 6 weeks.

This is so amateurish and completely counterproductive. Does it do the current manager any favours ? Or the players? Or even the incoming manager (if indeed its all true). The team suffers with the players knowing their manager is a lame duck one. And Leicester players knowing that their manager is not staying.

Once the judgement has been made the manager is not good enough he needs to be removed immediately. And that would give the new manager the longest possible time to know the squad. I’ve said it before: complete lack of football experience at the very top levels of the club. Financially one of the very biggest clubs in the world but football wise the leadership is worse than that of a ****ing corner shop.

It's a fair point but I don't actually believe any of it. It's just clickbait imo.

Btw I wouldn't be surprised at all if a secret deal has been done. I just don't believe anyone in the media has a clue about it.

    You can usually tell.

Sure. Probably is. But my point is not predicated on the truth or otherwise of that rumour. Surely is there anyone at the highest levels of the clubs happy with our recent performances? What sort of advice football wise are they getting and from whom? The director of football? Possibly a friend of Ole. When most of the ex players pundits who were previously supportive have now changed their minds and say that a change is needed.

I don’t think that even the incompetents at the club could **** it that much.

I just think we have ppl at the very top whose sum total of football and business knowledge extends as far as agreeing sponsorship deals.

They have zero idea of future planning as far as matters on the pitch are concerned.

Which means that the money made from the sponsorship deals and broadcasting rights go into the pockets of the GGs and…on the transfer fees of overpriced players who then don’t get a game. The team is hardly strengthened despite the money earned.

I would argue that the amounts of money that has been spent in the last ten years is right to there with anyone else. So I don’t know if that argument holds true for the last decade. But most of the other money that was supposed to be used to pay down the debt has gone directly into Glazers pockets.

I do agree with your earlier post that what is going on at the top of this club regarding football matters is extremely shameful.

I’ve not said any different. We’ve probably spent as much as anyone else but we’ve spent so poorly that it’s scarcely believable. Players brought at great expense have not strengthened the team as they should have: Di Maria, Sanchez, VDB are only a few examples of many.

Of all the major clubs in the world, only Manchester United would be this bad at being decisive at stopping the bleed. It is beyond fked! We will probably get a result this weekend and then hit the bumps against top sides in next matches. We will eventually be left here wondering wtf is happening at the top level of the club. It is fked situation!!

They'll have their ducks in a row now though.

Say we lose to both Watford and Villareal (unlikely I know, but possible) he'll be gone. One of Zidane or Rodgers will then be employed.

The only acceptable outcomes to quieten fans in the next few weeks are clear wins (not draws) in the premiership and the CL. And Utd in the top 3. Very unlikely and as things stand more likely to go in the opposite direction…with great speed.
