Very different Bruce is our best ever manager and a real football man. Who deserves another crack after getting us back to the PL Barmby isn’t he took his toys home what 11 years ago and hasn’t done a thing in football since. Rosenoir was an average full back and is making his way in the game we don’t need him Ashbee is an ambassador role and is far more suited to it than deano ever was. If I’d said ashbee back as a coach then yes bullshit. But i didn’t Hope this helps
Part of my reasoning is that there'd be more chance of having a successful RL club in the area. The last decade or two suggests it won't happen otherwise. There's room for a successful football club and RL club (not 2)..... but whilst ever City, FC and KR have a mentality of division then sporting success for the region is less likely.
FC and Rovers could merge if you gave both sets of fans a say. For the name FC fans could chose Hull as their contribution and Rovers fans Kingston Rovers. For the colours FC could choose white and the Hull. Kingston Rovers ones red. Job done, and the new club is called Hull Kingston Rovers. The badge could be Hull's 3 coronets with the name of the new could around it,
In football terms it'd be like us merging with TWS, just not gonna happen and if it ever did, hope i'm not here to see it.
Surely you meant it would be like Real merging with Athletico, or AC with Inter, or United with City? GL would certainly say so.
I was focussing how I could best put it across to you all. It's like when arsewipe tried to change our name.
If funding was provided, would Mick McCarthy, provide a better option than most? I don't think he had the funds or the players at Cardiff.
Owners, Managers, Coaches, all staff, tea ladies, groundsmen and fans. Everyone needs to come together. That's how we did it before. Hopefully this is a new start for all of us. If we can do that, then have no doubts, we will get the good times back.
Don't forget Rangers and Celtic. Some deluded fool on RH Sportstalk once compared the intensity of the FC v Rovers rivalry with Celtic and Rangers and Liverpool and Everton. I am sure they lock away new arrivals on the sports scene in Hull and subject them to brainwashing before allowing them on air.
Agree, except the 'togetherness' went even wider. It was like the whole community across Hull & ER were together (except for the usual suspects of course). Even people who weren't particularly football / sport fans were aware and interested. I'll say again, Adam Pearson was the main factor behind that and he could be part of it again.
