Bergwijn with a goal and an assist for the Dutch

...and I can't post clips of either because, at this point, karma-chasers are using video sharing sites that Streamable doesn't even recognise

Seems to have played on the right, judging by his position on his goal:

So that’s likely him out as well as Skipp’s suspension for Leeds. Fun times, man.

Either his thigh or his hamstring, depending on how you look at the clip

Looks like the hamstring (so not the thigh, as Romano was suggesting)

If it's not as bad as it looked one thing to point out is that he's suspended for the Mura match, so if we rest him for Leeds he does get a week to rest up

At least they're doing something. Their sponsors agreeing to it is fairly surprising, though.

Better footage of Bergwijn's goal and assist:

Definitely playing right-wing and looked like he was heavily involved.
Also featured Erik The Viking's son, but no crowd.

Bravo! There has not been anything like the attention given to the record of Qatar in human rights and in particular the conditions under which the workers building the stadiums have had to endure. There have been 37 deaths directly attributed to the construction of stadiums (ignoring the thousands, yes thousands, of migrant workers who have died on other projects).

I quite enjoyed this international break for a change. Probably because the games were decisive and there were some interesting and unexpected twists - not least Italy and Portugal having to settle for the play offs - and because Scotland and Wales performed so well.
I still don’t want another for a while though.

The data on this is not as clear as it first appears. According to the Indian Government for example there are 500k Indian workers in Qatar and 250 of them had died over a period. For a group of men of the same age group in India 1,000 would have died. For men of the same age in the UK 300 would have died over that period.

I find those figures remarkably hard to believe, purely based on climate.
It seems extremely unlikely that Qatar would have less deaths in that heat than the UK with our ****ty but mild weather.

There will be a healthy worker effect. The frail members of that age group won't go to Qatar. The comparison is incredibly difficult to do accurately for that sort of reason
