Mind you I find it very difficult to believe it was mental issues which made him wave a large knife about on a bridge at the time of the Digby slaying...... Think he was using that as another lame excuse
This Saudi takeover at Newcastle is really starting to become seriously unpleasant now. The 'human rights' lawyer and 'friend of the Geordies', Irina Tsukerman, is accusing a British politician of taking money from Saudi opposition. It's totally untrue, just more Saudi propaganda. The MP's 'crime', to deserve to be targeted, was criticising the waving of Saudi flags and tea towel wearing at SJP. If this is just the start, who knows how it will end ... ... these people have a way of doing things that we're simply not used to. Few of us may admire British politicians but they're part of the fabric of our society. It's becoming clear that some people are being paid to attack that. please log in to view this image JOHN NICOLSON M.P. @MrJohnNicolson Replying to @waynekeris and @irinatsukerman_ She does appear to be a lawyer. I’ve just checked with the NY bar. If she had a UK address she’d be looking at a career ending libel claim. 4:20 pm · 17 Nov 2021·Twitter for iPad
They're all closet Mackems really. They just forgot about it when we had a mental manager with an inappropriate tattoo.
They often do, after destroying their papers, if they still have any. Then many turn to helping out at local church groups, ( who better to help with an appeal?) undergo a faux conversion to Christ, which means that they cannot be deprted home, as such apostasy is as good as a death sentence in their nice cuddly and tolerant homeland. As far back as David Blunket being home secretary, ministers have struggled with this against a politicised civil service and judiciary.
I'm not 100% sure of Islamic law but I believe that if you cross your fingers behind your back ... ... while converting to Christianity it doesn't stick and they won't behead you.
The fact that apostasy genuinely is, in many Muslim countries, punishable by death in theory at least, and sometimes in practice, is an astonishing and under reported fact. It is mind blowing really, and Muslims walking a similar path in this country face real troubles of their own.
So on health and safety issues should we not be denying them entry as it will be in their best lively interests?
Quote: The 13 countries which maintain the death penalty for blasphemy or apostasy are Afghanistan, Brunei, Iran, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritania, Nigeria, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, United Arab Emirates, and Yemen.
