The real story behind this should read. Gary Hoffman, the 61 year old chairman of the Premier League is expected to announce his resignation later this week in the light of jealousy from a number of Premier League Chairmen with American backgrounds. The owners of Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham have expressed their outrage at the fact that Newcastle United were bought over in October this year without their prior approval, masking this as “we would have liked to be informed”. The fact that this type of anti-competitive behaviour is illegal and has escaped these owners is quite frankly worrying after the parts they played in creating the European Super League. Gary Hoffman has had a turbulent 18 months in control of the Premier League dealing with illegal outside influences from a football cartel who seem to think themselves elite. A cartel who’s very financial fabric and business plans require them to compete and benefit from the riches of the ridiculously formatted champions League. An event that is no longer considered a competition as it favours the larger seeded teams for TV broadcasters benefits who were worried that the latter round draws would be unappealing if equally deserving smaller clubs from smaller European nations should knock out the “big guns”. At the time the European Super League was announced these same chairmen were highly critical of UEFA and resigned their memberships of UEFA stating they would no longer wish to compete in the Champions League. Roll on less than 6 months later and all these chairmen are now clambering over themselves to be one of the 4 teams allowed to qualify on an annual basis and are now petrified that a rejuvenated Newcastle United would mean 8 regularly competing clubs for 4 spaces in time. In a world where journalists are allowed to hide behind freedom of the press and can write whatever lies they wish, they would have you believe that the NUFC takeover is the reasoning behind Mr Hoffman’s decision to resign. However a very quick search on the worlds largest search engine will show that Mr Hoffman is in fact being investigated for money laundering crimes through his online banking company MONZA. An investigation which whilst hlding the position of Premier League Chairman could surely be considered as bringing the game into disrepute. If charged Mr Hoffman would be forced to resign as chairman as this offense will disqualify him from being a company director by UK Law. Lets not let the facts get in the way of a good old tale though.
You've kind of got to feel for Hoffman in the same way you kind of have to feel for that tory MP who was taking bungs to promote companies. Not in the fact you feel sorry for them or what they did but they have been used, abused and cast aside when no longer of use to those with control over them and are now out of a job. Ahh nah you fooking don't **** the lot of em
Sorry, I hope the **** goes to jail, meets Billy Bob in the showers, gets his ring broken like Frodo then catches a dose of galloping knob rot.
