I think you have to be trying quite hard not to like someone who did as much for the club as Pearson did if your reasoning is that a couple of his managerial appointments turned out poorly and that his successor turned out to have financial difficulties years later.
His track record of Was in a pub in the Cotswolds 4 or 5 years ago. A couple of blokes came in and asked if I minded if they switched the tele near me, which was showing a Liverpool game, over as they wanted to watch the highlights of Gloucester's rugby union team. I said no problem I'm a Hull City fan not a plastic scouse (there some of them nearby watching another tele). Had a good chat about rugby with them, they were season ticket holders at Gloucester. (Watching them costs more than you might think BTW). Anyway on the Sunday there was a quiz on and again Iwas sat near them and some of their mates. A question came up about which country's rugby union team played in pale blue and white hoops (easy peasy). This bloke says this chap knows all about teams playing in hoops. He is from Hull where they have a famous team which play in hoops, Hull Kingston Rovers. I burst out laughing. He asked what was funny. My wife said you don't want to know the, pub shuts in 2 hours. There isn't time.
Would Eddie Howe have been good for us? A big step up to a big city club like us after little Bournemouth.
The risk is being taken by the fella forking out the cash to buy the club. If he trusts this manager, or any manager then FFS let's give the bloke a chance and our full backing. The negativity on here is alarming.
.... plus it's about time City, FC, SMC, HCC all started collaborating positively, working for mutual benefit, not against each other as they have been for the past 10 or so years. They should all enjoy the benefits of collaboration i.e. working toward win-wins, rather than the Allam's way which has been a mixture of lose-lose and win-lose. It's been madness for too far long. AP is the person to help achieve this.
Collaboration with fc. GTF never Pearson back. NO Barmby back NO Rosenoir back NO Ashbee club ambassador YES Move on ffs
I'd rather FC merged with KR and moved to Craven Park or Costello or somewhere to be honest ... but it ain't gonna happen. So best thing is if there's brilliant cooperation that benefits City, FC, SMC, HCC, and Pearson could help achieve that. I have a strong feeling that Acun will look for collaboration and mutual benefits too. The opposite makes no sense whatsoever (as we've seen during the Allam's era).
Bull We don’t want any benefit to fc Their our enemy There is no mutual benefit One of the things the allams got right was their treatment of fc
Ashbee back. Move on ffs. You wanted Bruce back didn't you? Move on ffs. Both nonsense things to say but the same is true of you saying it about Pearson, Barmby and Rosenior.
