Bloody awful women driving the racist rhetoric.
    https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news...-merry-go-round-claim-about-liverpool-suspect
"Priti Patel sai that the suspected Liverpool terrorist attacker was able to exploit Britain’s “dysfunctional” asylum system to remain in the country. she said the system was a “complete merry-go-round”, with a “whole industry” devoted to defending the rights of individuals intent on causing harm.
Nazir Afzal, the former chief crown prosecutor for north-west England, said: “If she has a problem with the law with an 80-seat majority and following 11 years of her party being in government, they have had plenty of time to do something about it. Blaming lawyers is very dangerous and is a deflection from the competence of her own government.”

I “liked” your post, not because of the outrageous way you and your dad were racially bullied, but because of the way you both dealt with it.
Having him pay the damages into a fund for homeless children in India, is pure genius. <applause><applause><applause>

Johnson is probably the one who instiagated dragging the level of debate towards the gutter because as we know that Spaffer lacks the intellect to articulate a decent response. So what better way than to drag your opponent down to your level.

I think that’s a complete digression from what actually happened.

Not really. The speaker had to intervene to shut them up.

As we know, Johnson loves a slanging match as it is theatre, it goads his own side to cheeering him on, and so he thinks he is winning. As I stated, he lacks the intellectual capacity to articulate his views, whatever they may be, in a clear and succinct way.

No he didn’t. He intervened several times to remind Johnson that this was Prime Minister’s Questions, not questions to the Leader of the Opposition. He ducked a point of order on Johnson accusing Starmer of misconduct. At no time did he tell Starmer to shut up.

He did tell him to withdraw an insult he threw at Johnson. It's pathetic from the pair of them.

In this case, there was only one pathetic individual. Starmer asked 6 pointed questions, all of which deserved detailed answers, but all Johnson could do was squirm and deflect. He has no credibility left whatsoever, and trying and failing to drag Starmer down to his level was typical of someone with nowhere left to hide.

I’ve made it very clear that I don’t particularly like Starmer as a leader, but there’s no denying that his confidence is rising as he finds more and more ammunition to fling at this inept and corrupt government.

They've spent weeks on this topic now when quite frankly there's far more important things to challenge the government over - the NHS and the unacceptable waiting times for ambulances, covid related matters, the massive increase in migrant crossings etc. Instead he continues to attack the government over something relatively trivial and has no bearing on the general population. I'm sick and tired of this nonsense being top of Labour's agenda. I don't for one second condone any of it but I'd rather the leader of the opposition tackled the PM on far more pressing matters.

The reversal of the position on the eastern leg of HS2 only came up yesterday, as did the reversal on the Manchester to Leeds Crossrail link. These were election promises, so perfectly legitimate for Starmer to raise. And I think continuing to hammer a corrupt politician for examples of his corruption is also perfectly legitimate.

I’m sure Starmer is grateful for your advice though.

Please point out where I said it wasn't. That's the sort of stuff that PMQ's should be used for, not getting into rows about the same bloody thing every week. He's trying to score cheap points at the end of the day. Rather than debate about important stuff, he's focused on damaging the Tories. I'm not naïve enough to say this shouldn't be brought up at all, of course it was, it's extremely damaging for his main opponents. But it's been dragged out far too long now. And it's just ****ing tedious now. Politicians are not following the rules. Sort it out and move on.

Debate with Johnson? No hope of that when the speaker repeatedly told him to answer the questions not ask them.

There’s a debate just started about the standards question, and you’re right, it absolutely needs sorting out. Starmer today in another of his 6 questions was asking Johnson for an apology for the complete mess he made of the Owen Patterson business, an apology which even Rees-Mogg had himself made. Johnson could not bring himself to utter the words, but fudged stuff about making mistakes. I honestly can’t see why you can’t see the difference between Starmer asking a legitimate question, and Johnson completely failing, as he invariably does, to give an answer.

That Leeds board is deeply depressing reading. But of course, no racism issue in Yorkshire. Oh no.
