There are a number of male managers in the game at the moment who have never played professional football, Jose Mourinho among them. So how would a woman who has never played professionally be less suited to the job than a man who has never played professionally, having both gone through the exact same coaching process?
So no one has answered why the BBC never has two male presenters on the news together , may be the females were unavailable and have been for the last 5 years or more . So diversity and equality only works for women and BAME . The left wing overpaid producers at the BBC will not allow this to happen , that’s box ticking or discrimination pick whichever suits you you are missing my point like others all along it’s not the level at which they played it’s to repeat myself the physicality and all the other nuances of the male professional game developed over 120 years or more . Because weve had a professional women’s game for 5 years or so it doesn’t make them experts on the mans gameYET.
Or just having a male and a female presenter provides balance on the news? It's a balanced demographic that suits all audiences? If they had two female presenters you'd be outraged at that too I'm sure.
And again, what does that have to do with being able to structure a side tactically? Do you think a woman would tell a team to position themselves in particular ways and then realise that it won't work because the other side can run faster than she ever experienced when playing? Spare me.
No because that’s on every day - I’ve no problem at all but you have failed to tell me why there is never the reverse
Never? How many female presenters are there often on MOTD? That's on BBC isn't it? I just don't quite get the angle you're going for. These businesses do research on what team set up has the best response with their target audience. At the end of the day they want to attract viewers, so will do what they can to attract more viewers.
I have quite a bit, yes. Why? Amazingly, we also have male and female presenters on news programs here too.
No, granted, but a woman who started working with Jurgen Klopp for example and attained her coaching badges would be qualified, would she not?
Tell you what guys I’ll go and make my wife’s tea and be happy to do it , il dust and hoover as I work from home and she’s out at work . You carry on with your view of the world Ill take a look but n one on here has given me a valid reason for the exception I referred to ! It can’t be chance it can only be as o suggested so it is wrong , exactly how I would see it if it was always any other way round . I want fairness across the board nothing else despite my crusty age
If she got a job at, I dunno, Rangers, and did well with them and then, I dunno, got a job at Aston Villa and did well there, could she not potentially manage Liverpool or United?
If your default response when watching an advert is to count & question how many different ethnicities, sexualities, sexes & skin colours in the advert deviate from “ privileged white male” then I believe you have a problem. Maybe try a Diversity & Culture Awareness course. You’d obviously have to open your mind first.
If you're facing a 94mph ball aimed at your bonce I think 'duck' might be the right answer! Seriously though, I don't think a coach or manager, male or female, needs to have done 'everything' in order to gain credibility with their charges. Arsene Wenger springs to mind immediately and there are many more like him. On the other hand top players who have turned their hand to coaching/management don't always do too well.
Anyway, it's now been a week since 'the countdown begins' so.. I wonder if we've got a bit of news heading our way soon.
