I watched some of the Spurs v Arsenal game this weekend. As I saw it,the Arsenal won. Their ladies had smashing legs. The Spurs ladies left a lot to be desired!!!!!
Well........! I'm peed off with international football!

The SPL is a poor league.
As well supported as they may be, Rangers and Celtic cannot compete on or off the field with the elite of Europe or with most, if not all, of the PL clubs.
It might be a different matter if they were im the PL and benefited from the revenues that go with that - but they aren’t. They really bear comparison with Sunderland or Sheffield Wednesday at present.
Gerrard could never achieve much more than he had already done by staying there and would never have been a realistic candidate for the Liverpool job some time in he future based on his experience managing Rangers alone.
Hardly surprising he left.

Im surprised he left and a lot of friends up here who support Rangers feel a bit betrayed.

Ultimately he won the title to stop 10 in a row but out of 9 possible trophies he only won 1.

I can see why he went to Villa as it’s the perfect audition for his beloved dream job as LFC manager.

I don’t think he will find it easy with Villa though.

If Villa is an audition he's fcked.

He should've done 2/3 years at Rangers, got more experience of competing for league titles and managing in Europe. Then moved to a club like Leicester or West Ham who have the resources to at least battle for Top 4 and trophies.

That would've been good progression for the Livpl job.

I said this on the PL board, with a club like Villa, no matter how much progress you make, in the end it will always end in failure. You just have to look at O'Leary, O'Neil and Smith.

He'll have to move to another club before he can take the LFC job imo.

Villa is a tricky job.
Big ambitions, but hard to achieve unless he is astute in the transfer market and a good tactician - and the jury is out as to whether he can be either. Leicester got it right, but how lucky were they to pick up the likes of Kante and Mahrez? And get so many goals out of Vardy?
I’m surprised he took the job with so little managerial experience - and none in the PL.

Mendy hit with another two charges of rape. That’s now 6 rape and 1 sexual assault.

Not looking good for him to say the least.

What happened in the Siggurdson case? That one went all quiet all of a sudden.

Naughty little fecker.

I read that he's had bail extended until January IIRC.

It has to be said. These cases are absolutely horrific and disgraceful to say the least (especially for the victims). It does naturally make you question what other footballers have been involved in these predatory activities.

Last I heard he was supposedly living in a safe house but that was months back. You’d have thought something would’ve been said more recently.

And how many did The Sheikh Mansour Team know about but issued gag orders when they found out?
He was arrested and bailed on November 11th last year.
Played 17 times after that for City and was on the bench for a load more.
Allegedly committed several crimes in that time, too.

Chelsea looking to top us and Arsenal in terms of ripping off fans next season by tripling the price of some of their season tickets in the west stand to £3,900.

Wonder how many will actually renew theirs?

Shows how out of touch clubs are though, the prices have been hiked essentially because there’s new bars and big screens plus some padded seating… Yeah I’m sure people will love paying over £2,000 more (original cost is supposedly £1,250) for their ticket just for that and watching the actual football is just a bonus so long as they sit on a nice seat and have a sparkly bar to go and get a beer from <doh>
