Since the subject of second jobs for MPs has been in the news recently, can I introduce you to this prize ****
    https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/tory-minister-nadhim-zahawi-pockets-25457511

Don't worry if you're in his constituency. He did so few hours working for this company that I bet it didn't affect his good work as an MP. But given his performance here, what's the betting he's got other jobs too?

Basically I have one investment, in a little oil company based in Kurdistan called Gulf Keystone Petroleum (code GKP if you want to invest). They are a smallish company that could [insert fantasy speculation here] be worth multiples of what they are currently valued at. However they are a relatively small player presently and what they really shouldn't be doing is paying non-executive directors hundreds of thousands for doing nothing. Yes, seriously, none of the investors have a clue what this guy actually did for the company. Other than being of Kurdish extraction and fitting into 'a certain way of doing business' in the region. Yet somehow he pocketed over £1 million for doing nothing, and bent some rules (not broken any apparently) to ensure that his wheeze didn't get all the attention it deserved. And it didn't because when it comes to dodgy MPs, he's really in Tier 1 though somehow he's getting away with it.

Anyone watching Dispatches on Channel 4? The sunny uplands promised by Brexit will have to wait for a while. Small and medium businesses exporting to EU have tanked. Oh and the jobs we were supposed to be protecting thanks to Brexit are now all going to France, Belgium and Holland as British companies move operations to those countries in order to save themselves.

And yet convicted criminal Darren Grimes is continuing to serve the bitter-tasting Kool Aid by twisting the Shell HQ story into the first of many EU companies moving to the UK, as opposed to what it actually is - a company registered in the UK moving their HQ to the UK

It's complete bollocks. All to do with restructuring to benefit from tax breaks. The motivation to relocate begins and ends there!

    Funny how Brexit was....

Supposed to protect our farmers and fishermen and yet they now have greater restrictions or subject to being undercut by cheaper imports.

Supposed to control our borders yet the amount of refugees crossing the channel has tripled in the past year.

Supposed to protect medium and small businesses but has tanked most due to EU duty and shipping price hikes.

Supposed to protect jobs but has ended up sending more jobs abroad. Whilst putting off anyone in EU wanting to come here to do the work we don't.

If only someone had said something before without it being labelled project fear. Hmmmm....

And this is awkward in light of the new revelations of BoozeJo's links to Bannon -- although as we know, nothing will happen! <doh>

And as the Tories slide deeper and deeper into a cesspit of sleaze, they can still find one of their number to keep digging...

Chope has history on this. Has a pathological hatred of rushed decisions even when there's no difference of opinion. He forced a vote on whether to ban photographing up women's skirts. Probably just his way of showing he was at work yesterday.

Stanley Johnson accused of sexual assault by Caroline Noakes MP.
    His response?
'I don't remember, I don't recall, I have no memory of Caroling Noakes at all. Hey Ho, good luck, thanks' <doh>

    Which sequed beautifully to this...

Thanks. Thought for a minute you were saying that people who wore poppys were fascists. I think I'm a bit sensitive at this time of year!
