It will be interesting to see if Northern Ireland can take anything off Italy tonight and give Switzerland an opportunity to get the automatic spot. Portugal lost 1-2 to Serbia last night which means they are in the play-offs and the Dutch are trying hard to mess it up. They were 2-0 up in Montenegro who then scored twice in the last 10 minutes for a draw.
Only the best six runners-up out of 10 get seeded and a home draw. Wales' position is a bit precarious in that respect?
Getting a point against Belgium would secure second place in the group but would not definitely guarantee Wales home advantage in the play-offs as one of the best six runners up. A win over Belgium would do the job, I suspect, but there are lots of other matches which come into play e.g. if Scotland beat Denmark.
