Not as clever as they think they are, the might be able to brainwash the Mags but they can't fool normal people ...

Saudi official linked to Jamal Khashoggi murder is accused of trolling Newcastle United takeover critics on Twitter
    • Critics of Saudi takeover of Newcastle United are being attacked on social media
    • Saud Al-Qahtani is believed to be behind a troll account called KateStewart22
    • Experts warn accounts are used by the Saudi regime to pump out propaganda
Among those targeted by KateStewart22 last week was The Mail on Sunday’s chief sports writer Oliver Holt, after he tweeted criticism of what he called a ‘murdering, misogynistic, homophobic, despotic’ regime.

The mags will be lapping that **** up. Most will know the truth, but anything they can latch on to which publicly justifies the situation and gives it legitimacy will be golden to them right now. Even if it is total bullshit.

Ironic that the propaganda guy on Twitter chose to pretend to be a woman. That doesn't go down well there.

These PIF purchasing Inter Milan rumours will not go away. I think it’s going to happen.

This will definitely be happening. In the documentary " The Dissident ", which I mentioned earlier, ( really worth a watch) they go into this in detail.

Literally thousands are employed to deflect criticism, bully and discredit any one who is in any way critical, abuse and hustle any opposition. It is a big professional organisation, almost Orwellian in concept.

These hapless and desperate groups who are doing the same here are doing the unpaid bidding of a tyrant.

Everything gone. Integrity, club identity, reputation, all gone. All for a shiny new player or two, or three or four, who will come and mouth all the correct platitudes, but know in their bones that they are using some of the precious and limited of their playing years to put make up on the face of a monster.

Look at the twitter responses to any for of KSA criticism. Sportswashing has reached unprecedented levels in record time, it's depressing.
To see people so closely cut from your own cloth to be bought by and defend people whom they know to be evil so easily just by the idea of money and not even the realisation of it yet makes me doubt the morality of every single one of them. For shame.

good post, but I still don't see how they are going to sign 'top' players, despite their huge wealth. If you are one of the very best players in europe ( or the world for that matter) you have the choice of 3 or 4 clubs in every country who are the 'elite' clubs, who always qualify for the big european competitions, who attract the top group of players from around the world. The very best players will always go to these clubs, and will always earn staggering amounts of money. Now in this elite class, I would say money then isn't the deciding factor, these lads are already wealthy beyond their dreams, then the next deciding factor is the guarantee of success, then probably the players around you, then the country/area/lifestyle choices for your family to live in, and if you're faced with all of these choices, I'm afraid Newcastle United are way, way down the pecking order in comparison to the major British and European clubs. And that's before any of this political ****storming that will follow them from now on, it will simply make it easier for top players to choose another club. I'm afraid the Saudi mags will be forced to look at the 'b' list for their new signings for a long time to come, and if there is any truth in the rumours of other clubs not wanting to do business with them , it becomes even harder. Don't underestimate the power of greed amongst the other PL clubs, who will see the new kid on the block as a threat to their income, and greed will decide whether to sell players to them or to boycott (sp) them to prevent them becoming a stronger threat , that'll be interesting to watch unfolding.
They (nufc) are starting from a position of ****e, and if they're still hovering over the trapdoor after Christmas, what kind of 'top' players will want to climb aboard the relegation express, for maybe another 5 months in PL football? Not to mention the exhorbitant fees and wages that agents will be asking for, do the mags really want to risk dropping into the championship with new players on stupidly inflated deals, knowing that any further summer signing will set these as a benchmark to ask for even bigger contracts? I see nothing but trouble ahead for Beheaddies Boys, I hope their fans are prepared to be very, very patient, but I also know that they're not, never have been, and never will be.

Grabbed this from wiki and adjusted it...

"Following the documents' release, the Saudi Embassy for the United States issued a statement assuring American officials that the Saudi Government held no role in the attacks, asserting that "No evidence has ever emerged to indicate that the Saudi government or its officials had previous knowledge of the terrorist attack or were in any way involved in its planning or execution"

    Modern day translation...

Following the documents' release, the Saudi Arabians issued a statement assuring PL officials that the Saudi Government was seperate from PIF, asserting that "No evidence has ever emerged to indicate that the Saudi government or its officials have any control over the purchase or running of NUFC"

But they don't want trophies, they just want a team that tries.

Oh, and owners that get them

Even with the more decent mags there's an attitude of 'nothing I can do about it so may as well enjoy it'. No different to actively supporting the new owners in my eyes.

I'm glad it didn't happen to us because I'd struggle with it and find it difficult to connect with the club in the same way. Not saying I'd go as far as to support a different team, that could never happen, but I'd sure as hell be a lot less blasé about it.

I've already heard this, " nowt to do with me" argument, although a good mate of mine will no longer bo going there. He knows what's happened and it's not for him.

But anyone can make mealy mouthed justifications. If being in bed with people like Bin Salman is okay, then it's not only contempt they have from me. It is deep pity, that anyone should be so desperate and needy about a football team that they turn a blind eye to the medieval disgrace that is Saudi Arabia.

I personally know of 2 newcastle supporters trying to convince me that their love for the club has diminished. Whether they still feel the same when the trophies start rolling in is another matter.

I can understand a typical supporter wrestling with their conscience over it, but when their LGBT NUFC supporters group turn a blind eye to it? ****ing hell!
