Disagree, you can’t have 59% or 64% of the population voting for something and not getting it.

Just to keep you up to date, I re-joined the Labour Party after trying three times to stop Corbyn, to ensure Long-Bailey didn't get the leadership. I left it again last month when Starmer started sucking Murdoch cock, a-la Blair. I won't be voting for it again. :emoticon-0112-wonde

If it is something that changes important things for future generations then I would say it should need to be more than 50.1%. I think other countries do it. A bit like two thirds of Congress have to vote yes to get an impeached president put of office and not 51% or whatever.

So that means that we would remain in the EUROPEAN UNION if 35% wanted to stay ?

You haven't lived in the UK for decades but would vote remain because it may be a pain to go back and visit for a week .

Should you be allowed to vote?

I'm worried that we have people who dont understand the concept of democracy
why have votes if you are not going to respect the result?

    Here's a fair way then:

The '75 referendum was 67 -33 in favour of EU. 34% difference.

    The 2016 was 52 - 48, 4% difference. A 17 - 2 difference ratio. We were in the EC/EU for 47 years, from 73 to 2020. Divided by 17 is @ 2.75.

Ergo, 2 x 2,75 -5.5. So we should stay out of the EU for another 4.5 years before we have another referendum (or indeed have the referendum next year to re-join in June 2025).

Dunno what Accountant B thinks of that, but I'm sure Accountant A has demonstrated the fairness and equity of this proposal. :emoticon-0126-nerd:

We joined the single market the EUROPEAN UNION morphed into a bossy Tyrannical scam and invited loads of poor Eastern European countries that will never pay in more than they get back .

Flooding Britain with tons of Romanian gypsies that breed like rabbits and bring their rampant crime with them.

Most of us wanted to end freedom of movement for scum from **** hole countries at our expense.

The EUROPEAN UNION even has it's own flag Anthem and army ruled by Germany.

They keep poking the Russian bear and if the German run EUROPEAN UNION want to go to war with Russia again then we shouldn't get dragged in.

That snooty Kraut whore Ursula von der Leyen blackmailing Poland for not bending over enough and fining them £1m a day proves we made the correct decision to get out.

Plus the other frumpy Kraut bitch Merkel caused the massive rape and terrorism wave across Europe by inviting 3rd World Muslims into the block.

Refugees who have fled a variety of conflict zones including Sudan, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq and Eritrea told the Guardian they believed the fact the UK was no longer part of the EU made it more appealing to risk the dangerous crossings because they could no longer be sent back to other European countries under EU legislation.

In October 2020 Boris Johnson said Brexit would enable Britain to take back “full control of our money, our borders and our laws”.

I guess you failed to read and understand it correctly, which is what I expect from a remonger

    Let me explain

    It said
"We pay the EU 350M per week
    lets fund the NHS instead"

Please point to where it says we will pay the full £350m per week to the NHS
