For the first time i will be missing a Sunderland game altogether, i.e I won't be there/watching it on tv or following it on any number of multi media as it happens. I board a flight to Portugal at 15:30 and I've decided that Ill try my best not to look at the scores until i get off the plane. Thus my matchday will be condensed into one minute on landing, switching my phone on in hope, clicking on sky sports and praying while the page loads that we have won the game. Its going to be bizarre to say the least. Lose and I have the solace of sun sea and alcohol to comfort me. Ps, what's the Portuguese for 'Bruce out?'
When I had the rare experience of missing a game due to holiday, we went and won 4-0 against Stoke. So I hope that we win by a similar scoreline today!
Cheers lad. hoping this is another omen, im flying from glasgow-prestwick airport and its in a place called tarbolton. I hope we are all saying ta bolton at full time.
Usually get to the Bolton game away and enjoyed most of them, decent place and crowd. However I have swapped this one for Man Utd away on the 5th and, as delusional or maybe drunk that I am I'll be expecting at least 3 points from them both. Enjoy your holiday parker. Tally Ho lads lets try and win this one for the lads and lasses who traipse all over the country for SAFC.
