On the tranny front all last season we were supposed to getting a hard on for Adama Traore and that proved to be nonsense. This time its Ross Barkley, anyone else underwhelmed by this bloke? Lets face it he did nothing last time he was at the club and as soon as he went back he was playing fir England, Townsend was the same but both of them are hot and cold and we dont have any time for players who run on cold. Let him go to Newcastle, Villa didnt want him, wonder why?
Ross Barkley is 28 in three weeks time, a 4 year contract would see him have no value left at the end of his contract. If he was available around £12m maybe it might be worth considering but with Barkley exiting his peak years I highly doubt we’re even interested. Another I can’t see us interested in is Nketiah despite new links emerging that we’re sounding out Arsenal, I just don’t believe that one either
Fast Eddie would move ahead of Joffy which makes no sense because both ar England U21 stars and both have very similar scoring stats through all age groups. Obviously Joffy has only just made the U21 squad but why would you take Eddie over Joffy and pay £12m when you already have the player ….
Ross barkley has wasted his career. Oh sure he will have bags of money but no medals or trophies to look back on. He would not fit in at Leeds utd.
Dean Smith set to take over at Norwich Fatty Sheakspeare to join him as well and all because Fat Fwank binned out. Bye bye Canaries
To be fair they probably stand a better chance with Smith in charge than Lampard. I still think Norwich will get a few wins this season. They are not as bad as some people think.
… if you’re only as good as your last game they are champions league candidates. Farke sides just can’t defend. If smith can sort them out in Jan, they might pick up a few points… but avoiding relegation is a long shot.
Back on the tranny front we should also add Wolves to the clubs looking for players, due to new managers. Newcastle Spurs Wolves Watford Norwich and Villa. On the one hand its good news because almost a third of the prem clubs are now in a state of transition, and cannot just up their performances overnight. There is still a few games before we get to January when the tranny window opens. Can Conte improve Spurs without new players? Will Newcastle take on board what Eddie Howe wants them to do straight away, will Dean Smith bring back sidelined players like Cantwell and Gilmour and get instant improvement? Lets hope we have a great game at Spurs and make Conte unhappy, lets hope all these teams and Burnley etc continue downwards and we rack up some wins, because by January we could be well up the table before these clubs can do repairs?
I'm not saying they'll stop up. Just that talk of them beating Derbys record is wide of the mark. As Milky says, if Smith tightens it up at the back a touch they will score a few goals. The strat they seem to have adopted of lumping it down the channels and turning teams around will be enough to secure a few wins here and there. I mean...its worked for Burnley for years.
They made some improvement on a defensive side 2nd time around (at the expense of goals for)- Then they got Liverpool and Man City and they remembered how to concede freely again.
I thought Barkley was going to be a top player but it just isn't happening, I don't think he'd do well with you lot.
Heres another reason why I detest the BBC. They are insinuating that women can play at the same level as men and because boys clubs or wherever women play dont have tampax machines….. just fook off BBC I prefer a defibulator machine to a tampax machine myself "I've been to places where we can't even use the toilet because it's a urinal, and no changing facilities so we had to get changed in the car park." That's what inspired ex-Liverpool Feds players Rachael Mutch and Jo Murray to create a pack for females and those who play football on their period. The "Just-In-Casey" bag contains organic sanitary products, protein snack bars and pain patches. Several clubs have now stocked up on the packs and Rachael hopes more will follow. "The facilities at grassroots are not acceptable for people who are trying to play at the same level as male counterparts," she tells Radio 1 Newsbeat. "I don't think I've been to a facility that has any period products that can be purchased - and when you do, it's like a pound for three pads".
It all gets a bit silly at times, when I played footy I took everything with me that I may need, medication, support baggage for dodgy knee, spare boots, spare shin pads and anything else I though I might need. I didn't at any point expect to be able to purchase the things I need at the ground. Fair enough with toilet facilities but I've never seen a changing room without an actual toilet as men **** just like women?
Just proves that however much you may dislike your natural body functions Nature will have its own way in the end And if you don’t like facilities already there go build your own instead of latching on to what others have built
