To be fair Tavernier got about 10 from the penalty spot that year I believe, Probably because Scotland is full of Ciaran Clark type defenders who love to give away a penalty. Rangers would actually be a great shout for Clark next - that kind of level, similar to our the last 5 seasons: relegation from EPL/top half Championship.
Rangers get more pens than an Alex Ferguson Man Utd. Basically, whenever they're in danger of not winning they get a shady pen. Any PL winger would have Tavernier on toast
