Well what length in inches translates to a regular leg? If i can try them on? Things like that. I usually buy a 36" Waist and a 32"/Regular leg but the 32" is often too long

    Morning All,

Back home after my 2000 + km run around England. I could not believe the prices for some things over there, they have really gone up since my last visit. When some of my neighbours complain about increased costs here they do not know how lucky they are, but then it is all relative.

It was all a bit frantic as usual trying to spend some time with family so missed out on having a <ale> with Brag and Al. I did find one pub with some Hooky that was in excellent condition. Having become used to eating out here from time to time, I did find pub food interesting. Thursday evening though was different, a really good meal in Bushey High Street even if it does mean that I will be looking for a mortgage to pay for it.

Quite a lot seems to have been going on in the world in the past ten days and I see some interesting threads on here. Not sure just how long it will take to catch up. Hopefully back to Hornet player and some real effort today, but will have to do a tour of the estate when it gets light to see if everything is still in good order.

Morning OFH - Glad you got back safe and sound. Britain is really becoming "rip-off" Britain...if prices don't actually go up, they are putting less in the packets. I went to Tesco yesterday and saw 2 good examples - 4 slices of Corned Beef in a pack when a couple of weeks ago there were 5 - now there are only 5 mini pork-pies in a pack instead of 6. Net result is a significant increase in their margins, although we pay the same and just eat less - perhaps they should market it as a way to combat obesity
    ? "Every bit less helps"...

St. James opposite the church which is run by Italians, but there is a newish Italian restaurant across the road that gets mixed reviews.

Very impressed BB by your knowledge of Bushey's watering holes.

Are they nearer to you or to me?

    ;)

How much work is actually going on there as it still looks derelict from the outside? Has anyone seen crowds of tradesmen going in early and coming out late?
