I think I'd have a nice seafood risotto to start.

Then I'd have an absolute uber quality steak as the main, Tomahawk or something. Rare or medium rare, depending on cut. Proper chips. A large meaty mushroom. And a sauce to go with. Brandy and peppercorn probably.

And it'd be sticky toffee pudding as dessert. With Joe's ice cream.

Bottle or two of Barolo with the food, couple of decent IPA pre food, then a couple of peaty single malt after the dessert.

    You can then kill me.

That all said, a good afternoon supply of pinchos or tapas and a large glass of red wine that's never empty would do.

Will buy one from Virgin wines or Laithwaites.

Will also get one from Naked wines. I stick a tenner a month in that and every so often buy a box.

It's not a good quality as the other box but works out at cheaper than supermarket prices for better wine.

I got sent through a big reds offer with a chance of winning an expensive bottle and won it. £45 a bottle for the one I won.

    I'm going for

Apertif : Calvados brandy or a glass of Champagne
Hors D'oeurve : Big fat greek olives with some feta and salty crispbread.
Starter : Tempura oysters, clams and prawns with some kind of umami/soy dip and some spring onions
Main : Pork Belly with crispy as **** crackling, some onion mash, greens and a red wine gravy
Dessert : Dark chocolate ganache with some honeycomb, fresh raspberries and a sprig of mint
Digestif : A nice port or sweet sherry, something like Pedro Ximenez.

Last time Virgin tried to send me a box I said I didn't want one yet.

They e mailed back and offered a 20% discount as it was 'already boxed and ready to go'. So, with that discount, worked out at £8 a bottle delivered so I said yes

It's superior to £8 supermarket wine by a good distance.

Opened the box and there was an added jeroboam size Shiraz that was ****ing magic!
