Absolute comedy....i'm sure Man City will still be happy to sell us a few of their players. Maybe we'll do a deal with them where they just buy the players we want and we loan them for a season and then buy them the next Can't wait to see how you all react to the other clubs when they take our blood money for their players !! please log in to view this image
It's hilarious that the Mags keep referring to their 3 buyers as if Staveley is anything but a puppet ... ... even funnier that she's been joined by another puppet manager. Ashley must be laughing his head off with all this
Puppet or not, at least we have someone communicating stuff to us after all these years. Whether it all turns out to be bollocks or not remains to be seen but all the right noises are being made. Ashley can laugh all he likes, he's a ****....albeit a very rich one.
so you really think Man City will help you stay up, you’re not right in the head you. It’s gonna be a long time before you’re at the top of the pile if ever, no guarantees that you’ll come close cause no decent player will want to come to a relegation threatened team and when you do actually make it back to the premier then don’t forget the Man City’s and Chelsea will be in for the same players, teams that have won titles and you lot will have to settle for the second best players
Second best players will do me mate....some pretty decent talent sat on the bench at those clubs all of whom I'm sure would much rather be playing football than getting splinters in their arses.
But will that be good enough for the beheaders...or will they look elsewhere where they don't have the same problems.
We are, apparently, about to bring in a DOF. Michael Emenalo, the former technical director at Chelsea. Apparently he is good, I've never heard of him before! Wouldn't want day to day footballing decisions to be made by any of the board really On your Eddie Howe point, I do think he will do a good job for us. He isn't a stellar name bit we are 19th, could get relegated still and we aren't exactly a mega club (hopefully yet!). I doubt we could have done much better than him if truth be told. I'm excited to see what happens in the future. I've supported Newcastle since 1993 (I'm only a 92er because of my age ha!) and I've not felt this hopeful since Sir Bob
No Sunland game this weekend and England out the cricket. Going to be a long weekend. All this going on up the road would be slightly more palatable if we (SAFC) were doing well.
Funny that the 2 best teams from the groups lose in the semifinals! Afridi and Jordan, 2 of the most reliable “death” bowlers absolutely smashed around the park. Should be a good game. Come on NZ
