    Most important line for me…

I’ve enjoyed success in my career but it’s because I’ve played the team game, not just deciding by myself,”

Don’t ever go to an international cricket match because every other fan there is listening to Test Match special.

I noticed that too and appreciated it, it's good for him to have some humility and open to accepting advice/assistance from others. Would hope that means he surrounds himself with a strong team to help run the club.

It's not that uncommon, quite a few Premier League clubs even offer their own dedicated commentary for fans with poor eyesight.

That is understandable. For anyone else it is ridiculous.

As I don't like cricket it is unlikely I will encounter this strange phenomenon.

Do you watch sport on mute at home? Or do you have commentary on despite being able to watch the game?

As you've suggested to Wetherspoons in this post that not everyone is as fortunate as him and may need conditions that he doesn't find necessary, perhaps you could similarly take this stance with people who may need/want audio commentary in the stands.

I go to City to support them and offer vocal encouragement. You can't do that listening to the radio.
I am interested in what is going on in front of me not elsewhere. It doesn't matter anyway until near the end of the season. There is one poster on here who was told to stop shouting his support for City by someone as his daughter was listening to what Man Utd were doing and couldn't hear.

No transistor vradios, packed lunches or themos flasks here. I know which I prefer.

As I said to OLM, a good idea for those with visual difficulties. For someone with no visual problems ridiculous. I wonder if the bloke who listened to Burnsy needs what's going on explaining to him now Burnsy isn't on? Or maybe he needs to know what Burns and Swann have had to eat and drink?

Yes I would hope if Humberside get broadcast rights again they improve their quality of coverage, Burnsy really offers nothing except nostalgia.

That would take some explaining. Beyond me I am afraid.

I only have sound on for crowd noise. Whenever there has been an option for sound only without commentary I have chosen it. I don't need a commentator to tell me City are taking a corner, or that it has gone straight to the keeper or that if it didn't Greaves has headed yards over. Or that KLP's crosses haven't got past their first defender, Wilks has run into a blind alley, failed to see an unmarked team mate and lost the ball, we have conceded a goal because (insert whichever name you like) wasn't marking someone at a set piece...I can see it.

Once again, perhaps expand your perspective outside of your individual specific preferences and appreciate that others may have different preferences to you that are also perfectly acceptable and have no impact on your enjoyment of the game.

A great list, but there's also some very important additional suggestions (not demands) in the comments that follow the tweet. Worth reading too., Put them all together and it covers just about everything Acun should consider doing (or conversely as others have said, everything that the Allams got wrong - it's one hell of a list!!).

Bit late in life to be learning not everyone sees the world the same way as you?

I'm old school and don't like paying weekly/monthly for anything and I know a lot of people of my generation think the same. But it's not a bad idea for some. However I saw nothing wrong with paying for your pass early ( before the current season had finished) and get a bit of discount for doing so. Adam Pearson introduced that scheme and I thought it was a decent one to encourage and reward loyalty. The pay on the day is a must too. I just cannot see the point of putting restrictions and time limits on how to buy tickets for a game, it should be the easiest thing in the world, not a ball ache.
