Might be quoting the wrong post, the one you're quoting is referring to the Southern Supporters suggestions.

I also think if it is used against him it'd be by pedants. Clearly his intent is that success is his focus and priority, that doesn't mean he isn't allowed to also make money where possible.

"The team's colours are fantastic, the symbol is fantastic and the city looks a little like Istanbul. We have the Bosphorus, you have rivers inside the city, we have the bridge (Bosphorus bridge) and you have the (Humber) bridge, we're both near the seaside and then are so many similarities.

“In Hull, I felt a very good energy, I really like everything about the city."

Whoever took him around Hull must of been one hell of a tour guide <laugh>

One thing that can change instantly is the relationship with the media. Currently it is embarrassingly bad.
I am very interested to see who else is backing him financially.

    Love the last one! <laugh>

Some good stuff though there, and as they say in terms of fan engagement the bar is low…stride over it!

That is why I tend to avoid links to the HDM website. I did click on this last one though.

It was possible to pay your pass monthly for a slight increase, certainly in the years leading up to the change.
Personally I find a monthly payment easier, but the notion of the club turning down money up front from those who prefer that way seems stupid.
I assume one of the ideas was that paying for a pass like a rolling mobile phone contract would discourage people from stopping coming, as opposed to having to choose to sign up every year…I think they’ve proved that theory wrong!

On some things certainly, but they should also have been able to spot the things that went wrong and change

EDIT - and if your talking about moving fans round the stadium they only did that because it suited them too, and then deliberately did it in duh a way to cause maximum hassle to those being moved hoping they’d get split up or not renew at all IMHO

As he is a media man. I hope he recognises the value of good relations with local media. I also hope he re-instates match day coverage with Radio Humberside. Older folks and people that cannot make games for whatever reason, should have access to commentary. Something this pair of knobheads did that really pissed me off.

Yes, the Humber is so like the Bosphorus with all the tour boats going up and down so you can see the wonderful buildings on the other side of it.

The inside of the stadium is a bit different on match days as well. If any fellow Fernebahce fans come over to take in a game I hope he makes them aware that the SAG consider standing up in the very steep, extremely high West Upper is dangerous as it could lead to surges and people falling into the fans below. Jumping up and down would lead to utter carnage.

When you paid for your season pass, it was over the 9 month season, where as the membership is 12 months. I am not sure what family discounts are available, but i think its bizarre that older fans. Get a discount. I would happily forego my oap discount if that money was used to help families out.

True. But you have to shake your head at the fan who complained on Facebook that he was annoyed at Burnsy not being on RH as he enjoyed listening to him as he watched the game in the stadium.

Is that unusual in the UK? I know a lot of older sports watchers here like to have a radio commentary in their ear while they're at the ground.

Most clubs give better OAP discounts than we do I should imagine. Like you
I don't need it, but I am sure that there are those with just a state pension, which is a lot less than minimum wage, who do find it helpful.

I should imagine it is unusual. I think it is bizarre. Do they need someone to interpret the visual information they are amassing and need it explaining?

I guess some can't make out the individual players so like having a voice in their ear identifying the players. It's quite common over here for older spectators. I suppose also relevant if there's multiple games at the same time that have a bearing on the team so you want updates.
