I suspect he was not complaining when The Lords was being stuffed with Blairite Lefties when the New Loser Party was in power. As these are jobs for life The Lords can only ever get bigger as more and more political appointments are added. Anybody would think that every appointment in the last decade has been a Tory. Bercow could not get in even when nominated by the opposition.
