Oh well, at least these days we play hard. You can look back at the match and say fair enough, NZ better on the day. Not like the old days when we played ODIs like it was the first session in a test match.

Aus require 177 to win 10 or so more than NZ did yesterday. Could go down to the wire.

Finished with three consecutive sixes, bowler will have nightmares about that.

I reckon the Aussies will win. I always feel NZ have an inferiority complex when it comes to playing against the Aussies at sport, apart from rugby.

 

I agree, Aus likes to put them in their place.

 

Pretty much like England with Scotland and USA with Canada

 

Yeah only our most recent results against Scotland are:
Football - drew
Rugby - lost
Cricket - lost

 

If you take it over the last 20 years it may look a tad different though!

If NZ keep the run rate from the last few overs up then it will be an interesting total.

 

173 expect Aus to chase it but you never know.

 

NZ were 57-1 after 10 overs and then ended up with the most runs in a world Cup final ever. Not bad going.
