No different to the Adam Pearson model really. AP was the front man and had his name above the door. The money was someone else’s though (Peter Wilkinson in that case).
They don’t need to, any dividends can be paid out privately. Risky on their part but obviously it’s up to them how they want to do it. Shota Arveladze and Zurab Khizinishvali. Swanny has encountered a problem and needs to close.
Like everyone else , v excited about the likely new owner and have for some time thought the manager needs to go, but now find myself thinking I might not rush into changing the manager, especially for someone with no experience of this league. When we win, as on Saturday, I think the team needs evolution not revolution and maybe McCann can turn it round after all. Really want the change of ownership asap but maybe if we do have to wait for 3-4 weeks we'll know for sure whether he really can build on Saturday's result. Would be v interesting, if Ilicali did see the Barnsley game, to know what he made of the team.
McCann has possibly the worst record in Championship history at one club, someone is about to pay £30m to buy the club and some seriously think he might stick with him?
Where has that come from? How do they showcase Turkish talent and make a noise In the world by getting in and out for a quick buck?
I’m not sure it quite said that did it? I’d assume he could still be ‘in control’ on his own (which I think is what it said without checking?) but still have a consortium in the background?
