With what we’ve seen of Cresswell so far I’d probably say he’s ahead of him as well.

Id probably put Shackleton at the top of the list. Roberts has something in him but if Bielsa thinks Shackleton can’t even play his own position (CM) when we’ve been crying out for one but puts Forshaw straight in is a telling sign. Shackleton not a RB either as Drameh showed better signs and after the weekend I’d rather Dallas at RB.

Think we’ll need a new CM, AM and ST in the transfer window so Roberts will drop down the pecking order further.

Both Shackleton and Roberts need to go out on loan to see if they can make it back into the squad or out on loan to slightly increase their values and then sell up.

I would take Shack off that list and put Klich on it. I think Shack has done enough already to show he is a worthy member of the squad.

Forshaw should be ok if he keeps going like he did Sunday and most importantly can stay fit.

Klich for me has a fight on his hands to get back up to the level needed to have a role. Has time caught up with him?

Llorente & Struijk partnership also "coincided" with our best run of form in the PL :emoticon-0148-yes:

I don’t think anyone is writing him off, just that his absence isn’t important when there are players who’d be selected ahead of him

germany are closer to Wales in the international rankings than they are to England. So are we bigging up Tyler Roberts as an international?

the main reason Germany are not higher is they’ve been a car crash defensively - Koch is normally a sub but he started when they conceded 6 in Spain, 3 at home to turkey… games I took an interest in because he was playing. I’m not drawing a correlation there or saying it was down to him. Just stating fact.

….but he gave Fernandez the freedom of old Trafford in his one game this season.

like I said injuries, stop start, new club… lots of genuine excuses, but let’s not pretend we’ve missed him based on what he’s done since he’s been here.
