The key with this appointment is what we do next in all honesty. Rumours of DoF or Sporting Director type roll as well as the positions that need to be created/filled around scouting/player recruitment etc etc. This is why this could well be a perfect appointment for us given where we are. Fonseca/Favre/Emery would have been nice but with that comes immediate expectations from all angles. Howe has managed two clubs and has done reasonably well at both, he has a chance to kick on now and prove himself with a far bigger challenge. Having thought about it a hell of a lot more I'm rather quite excited by the appointment. Don't get me wrong it could massively backfire and he could be an absolute pile of horse-****. At the end of the day he's a young English manager who has 2½ years (at least) to prove himself worthy of the step up, no disrespect to Burnley or Bournemouth of course. We need at least 6 points from our next 4 games which is an absolute must for me. Our fitness levels are ****ing shocking which is no great surprise when you read reports of the players only training ****ing 3 days a week or whatever under Bruce which is just madness. Hopefully he will sit and watch the games this season thus far (god that will be ****ing painful) and pick up where things need to change with the personnel we have at the club at the minute and with a few choice additions to the squad in January I reckon we will be fine. I don't think anyone is expecting Mbappe/Haaland type signings truth be told. We need to be looking at players not getting game time elsewhere as well as overseas, even if we bring a few loans in from clubs who don't want to sell...I honestly couldn't care less.
I can see Phil Jones, Dele Alli, Fabian Delph, Adrian & Danny Drinkwater signing for them in a final act of desperation that fills their squad full of sicknotes and ****houses
What a sad specimen. On here night and day spewing out insults and thinking you're brave then running back to your board boasting how you're running rings around us. You're a creep who obviously believes that NUFC having rich owners makes you personally superior, it doesn't.
Let's be fair, the time he spends on here gives his parents a break from listening to the constant rhythm of masturbation emanating from the basement
It's possible but their two problems are that they're really in a very real relegation fight and how many players believe their careers will be boosted under Howe.
Amusing how he's emerged now, these Mags are tragically predictable. I know we shouldn't encourage them but it's funny pulling their wings off, watching them struggling on the ground then stamping on them.
Those players they've been linked with, Phil Jones and Drinkwater haven't played for a few years, Dele Ali has gone so far off form he can't get into Tottenham's side when they are not playing well. Do you really want to rely on them to pull you away from the relegation zone?
Ali is soft as shyte, not what you need is such a crisis. Hope he signs. It'll take three poor games before panic sets in with the supporters and, hopefully, players. Howe has a very easy start but December and January are horrendous ... ... unless they pick points soon they'll be rebuilding for the Championship.
Short term contracts on huge money with relegation release clauses. They've been here before with the likes of Townsend, Winegum and Sissoko
Employing managers who have been out of work for over a year and then apparently signing players who cant get in their current team doesn't exactly smack of the richest club in the world
What they really need is a Freddie Shepherd type at the forefront to do a bit of dick wanging and sign players on HUGE transfer fees just to "show the rest of the world how big we are" Who can forget the Michael Owen and Jean-Alain Boumsong transfers?
Thousands at Owens first training session. I think that must have been the longest they saw him on any pitch
Maybe hand out a few 8 year contracts to coaches and players. Show the world they mean business Add a few more seats to their stadium as if it adds inches to your dick
Isn't it funny and ironic that NUFC provides more entertainment for Sunderland supporters than their own
To be fair I think they will do just fine and power up the league when they get Overmars in as Sporting Director
