Their whole defensive system is shambolic. You have to feel for de Gea in a way - if you get bombarded like he does you're bound to slip up sometimes. Must be like being Tim Krul atm.
Surprising that one. Bad run of form but seems like everyone’s worried now that because other teams are sacking managers they need to follow
Arsenal sneaking up the table. Need a win today to open up a gap or else that home game against them after internationals looks a lot tricker with us being in 4th and arsenal able to go above us.
They are flying mate. I wouldn't call it sneaking at all. They had a rank start but since then have been quite good
1-0 watford easy (17th) 0-2 Leicester (decent) (12th) 3-1 villa easy (16th) 2-2 palace (10th) 0-0 brighton (7th) 3-1 spurs easy (9th) 0-1 Burnley easy (18th) 1-0 Norwich easy (20th) that’s their 8 game unbeaten run since the 3 defeats at start of season. Leicester away trickiest game and decent result. The rest are all easy games, with prob Brighton and palace being hardest and drew both of them. If you could pick 8 teams to play after losing first 3 games you’d prob pick 5 of those
Bayern Club President, Uli Hoeness on the clubs season ticket prices... “We could charge more than £104. Let's say we charged £300. We'd get £2m more in income, but what's £2m to us? “In a transfer discussion you argue about that sum for five minutes. But the difference between £104 and £300 is huge for the fan. We do not think the fans are like cows, who you milk.” “Football has got to be for everybody. That's the biggest difference between us and England.”
Not the first time he's said it, nor is it the first time I've shared it on here. Unfortunately, it's far too late in the day for the PL.
Yeh the genie's out the bottle in the Prem. Incredible season ticket prices that, for one of the elite clubs in Europe in an exciting league playing attractive football. The tragic thing is that the big clubs in the PL hardly rely on the income from ST holders these days. It wouldn't dent the bank balance much if they did slash prices.
Well all they need do is have one club stand up and say they are cutting or at worst freeze the things for another 10 years cos the inflation coming is going to be wicked. In the end it's a cash cow now. The gate is no longer the be all but it's still a large revenue so it's not going to get cut.
The same club also has a monopoly on the entire league and poaches all of the best talent from rivals...
Don't get me wrong. I love the sentiment behind it but let's not pretend that they're the people's cub.
