Yeh that all seems fine on paper. But like I said, I'm not sure a foreign manager can get a handle on United and the Prem all in one.

Not saying I'm right, just a feeling I have. That it would be an extra obstacle for them.

There's certain things about certain clubs that work for them but not others. Chelsea for example can keep sacking managers and keep winning league titles and other major trophies, but it doesn't work for most others, and I know wouldn't work for us. Just that type of thing.

I agree that being British should certainly be a plus if such manager comes along. And also someone that understands the magnitude of the job. If we go for someone like Rodgers, I would imagine that by now he knows our strengths and weaknesses and what he needs to do to get the best out of the team.

Ultimately, I really don't think that appointing Rodgers would be a downgrade from Ole. And I don't know how I feel about getting another "superstar" manager at this juncture. I think Rodgers will be steady. Or someone like Erik Hen Taag who seem to have a methodical way of coaching and developing teams but he doesn't do mid-season.

But knowing this club, I bet we are already talking to Mourinho at Roma. :D

Even Utd can’t be that incompetent. Roma has been on the slide since Mourinho has been appointed.

It looks that some key players have already turned against Ole. Once that happens, there is no way back and the club must act sooner rather than later. The outcome is inevitable.

I've had that feeling about Bruno since the season started, don't get me wrong i'm not saying he has give up but seems very disillusioned at the mo. He keeps saying we can be better and must be, sounds like he thinks we are held back.

I agree. I'd say it started towards the back end of last season and no surprise mirrors his decline in form during that time. And I'm sure the Europy Final was the decider for him.

His body language was/is appalling. At the pre city match conference with Ole I observed his demeanour closely. He looked like a convict who’s just received a life sentence. He definitely looked he’d rather be anywhere else.

    He's not the only one.

Rashford, Shaw, AWB, Greenwood, Lingard... they all do.

Rashford, Shaw and Greenwood definitely, AWB not so sure about, i think he just tries to do his best whatever and is "improving" in his forward play.

EDIT........if i was Lingard i would be totally pissed off, every time he has come on as a sub he has made a difference yet can't even get that chance lately.

Agree with most of that but disagree about AWB's progress. I think he was a better, more confident and consistent player at Palace. You're right about his attitude, he does always go out there to do his best.

The "he can tackle" argument is one you wish you could make for Trent. <laugh>

That's because he could play his position and get forward when the chance arose. Now he is being asked to play fullback and winger when we have Sancho getting splinters in his arse.

Were you happy with him yesterday <laugh>

He was fcking gash mate, but he scored a free kick so must be da best rb everrrr!

I'm genuinely happy to have AWB. When a decent manager comes in, AWB will become the player he should've been when he left Palace.

Yeh maybe if you're a defensive side whos Main priority is not to concede goals.<laugh>

I watched him Closely against city and i have to say when he did get forward it was hilariously awful. Gave the ball away with sloppy passing more times than i can remember.

You'll come to your senses eventually like most of you have with maguire, trebs is already on wans case:bandit:
