Anyway. What do you make of the reports of Brenda going to Utd ? The Manchester evening news seem to think he's already outlined how he'd approach the job. Probs just paper speculation, but it wouldn't be the first time Brenda has ditched a club mid season. Personally I think Utd will go for Ten Hag.

Not too bothered if it does, Ponks ... that's footie
Brenda left Celtic predominantly because the Board wouldn't back him in the transfer market as much as fancying a crack at the Prem ... John McGinn was the catalyst... he would have cost less than £3 mill I believe but the Celtic Board wouldn't sanction it ...
Brenda is the prime candidate for next manager at both Citeh and United if you believe the reports ... think anybody would prefer the Citeh squad but that would mean waiting on Pep ... who knows, not much surprises me in football.

2023?Utd will be replacing Ole before Pep goes. I think Brenda would take it if it's offered, but I'm not convinced he'd be the right fit there. I'm still surprised they didn't go for Poch when the spuds stupidly got rid of him. They could go in for him I suppose, but I think he's just signed a contract extension at PSG.
I think Ole will be gone before xmas, and I reckon they'll bring in Ten Hag.

So what you're trying to convince yourself, is that if United come calling, Rodgers is gonna say 'nah you're alright I'm waiting for the City job."
It's desperate that you're trying to mask the fact Rodgers would jump ship from Lesta to manage United by using City, a club you don't even support as some sort of win![]()
... was me that first posted the rumour of him supposedly verbally accepting the United job yesterday ffs ... but other press reports a couple of weeks ago had him down as Citeh's first choice to replace Pep ... who knows if ether has any substance ... but if he was offered both jobs right now I think he would opt for Citeh... just my opinion, but it's obviously hit a nerve
